I thought testimony always ended with cross, but I guess not, or maybe it's a Florida thing. The proponent of the witness generally gets to ask the last question. The typical order is direct, cross, and re-direct. Sometimes there are additional rounds.

I never realized that. I knew it worked like that with closing arguments, but thought cross always had the last word on witness testimony. I guess I learned something other than how full of shit prosecution can get today.

This is the prosecution's witness... LOL. Seeing as one of them was left laying on the ground and didn't get up, and the person on top stood up and walked away it's not much of an assumption to assume who was whom, according to her testimony.

I'm sorry, I missed the part in her testimony when she said she saw the person on top get up after the shot was fired and walk away. Are you even listening/watching the video?

Yes it is. She never saw the shot, or the person get up. She is making the assumption that based on the shadow she saw, and the pictures she saw on tv after the fact, it was the same person that was originally on top. She didn't see what happened. All she saw was "shadows". and based on that, she says she knows who was on top. Its a fucking circus.

Are you even listening/watching the video? The last question, the state said "the person who was on top was the person who was walking around after, correct?" and she answered "yes". She should have been arrested for perjury right there. She did not see the person get up, she cannot say that.

I don't understand why they weren't allowed to contradict that and clarify she wasn't watching the shot or who stood up.

The proscecution is trying to say to the jury that George Zimmerman acted to well and nice in the previous phone calls that he had to have been upset and frustrated by the time the last one happened that he instigated the fight. In other words, the prosecution has no real reliable evidence and are pretty damn desperate.
