Seemed to be of pretty good quality and looked really good. + Show Spoiler + ![]() Unfortunately I ordered the 16x12 version and it was too large for me, I'm terribly skinny and a bag of this size just looked odd on me, having it exchanged for the smaller version now, can't wait to start using it. Finally was able to pick it up at the customs today. The 14'x10' seems way more appropriate for me, the quality seems to be top notch again, only the harsh smell of leather might be a little annoying, but I guess that'll fade sooner or later. I'm looking to invest in a new suit. I already have a black one and then a navy/blue sportcoat so I'm thinking grey/charcoal. http://www.bonobos.com/charcoal-suits-for-men-foundation http://www.bonobos.com/grey-suits-for-men-foundation Feedback? My one complaint might be that they are notch lapel rather than peaks -I don't have occasion to wear a suit on a regular basis, and the first time I'd be wearing this one would be for a daytime wedding this October. The peak would be more appropriate there, but notched would be better for a day I felt like dressing up for work. I could use a pair of balmoral oxfords too...I can't believe bonobos doesn't carry any in black.

info: male black, thick, straight hair (stereotypical asian), long (about 3-5inches long?) 6ft tall kinda big face? Heart shape head model (want to see if I can do anything with long or medium) wear glasses (medium frame) *if this info even matters I realize it is kind of hard to make big face able to look good with long/medium styles but I have been doing short cut for essentially majority of my life and hate to think I am restricted to just one style xD. I am more interested in just trying something that would make me look good and nice. Mostly I want ideas to experiment but need you guys to help me know whats good to try and what to avoid

Might work if you go really long, the hair will cover the sides of your face and might make it look slimmer. Or go for a medium length shaggy / messy hair thing. But it just depends if you want a certain hairstyle or just want to "look good" with a certain hairstyle. Because what you want and looking good (in the eyes of others) are two different things. Like a lot of girls prefer men with short, neat hair. But then there are some that love long hair so I guess you can't lose (unless you get cornrows, then you always lose) you really need a picture of yourself and then either draw the shape of the hair you want and see how it goes.

And those are raw I'm guessing? I'm actually considering whether I should get a pair of APC NS, but I'm leaning towards Japanese denim instead at the moment, since they are a lot more accessible for me. How did you choose your size and how do they fit?

I only sized down 1, cause im a 30 and the smallest they had was 29. Maybe i should have went with the 29 nudies that icouldnt button They stretch a lot, its only been a few days but its not as snug anymore. I'd go down 2, even 3 (which is how much SF recommends) depending Go with the japs i'd say. Im kinda scared cause these are my first pair, and at $175 i dont wanna fuck it up

Linen pants are really nice especially when it's warm but you dont want to wear shorts, chinos are also wery comfy. Both will make you look atleast a little bit more serious. Dont really think you can look "professional" without a suit but your line of work does not require one anyways. You should also try to get a few quality casual shirts, preferably button down. Roll up the sleeves and they'll be like t-shirts or keep them rolled down for a more serious look. I personally like oxford and seersucker when it comes to materials but the important thing is that you like them and that they are comfy. I've seen some people pull off printed t-shirt under casual shirt with buttons open (so you can see the print) but I have never managed to do that myself and I have no idea if it is advisable or not. Just wanted to mention in since it kinda ties in with your wardrobe. If you want to go with some polos just get a few and keep them kinda understated (no big pony style) and high quality. I have a few cheap ones but they lose color, fit weird or get a messed up collar after just a few washes. Not worth it. I have two polos that are ~14years old that still hold up so quality matters When it comes to shoes I personally got a pair of tennis shoes and a pair of boat shoes in the summer. I just alternate them when I think it fits pretty much. Or I use the boat shoes when I can get away with not wearing socks. I used to dress alot like you during two parts of my life so thats why I did this writeup. But remember if you dont feel like you if you were to follow my advice just ignore it. I do also assume that alot of other people here can give you better and/or more detailed advice. Especially since mine could run away a bit pricewise if you were to buy everything at once.
