also bought wings & horns white sneakers. so much more comfy than CPs, though i can't figure out how to tie the leather laces. really like the worn in leather look and after a few days of intense walking they look even better now.

Instagram is such a cesspit for fashion, searching the #saintlaurent tag is genuinely shocking.

I'm going to be in Tokyo for a layover. Ideas on where I should go to shop? I already know Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya are dope spots but I guess I'm just looking for shop ideas and whatnot. I'm into the urban military look right now like Buzz Ricksons.

I think a good amount of the userbase are British. All the major forums have some value cuz the veteran posters know a lot are generally very cultured people, maybe except for MFA but I don't really browse there. The care-tags aesthetic is like.. fashion student fashion, bit of palewave I guess, lots of beat-up sneakers and old jeans. I love the thumbs comment system, cuts down on spam. The people are actually nice. Sufu is pretty dead. SF has very deep roots in CM and the casual wear reflects that. On an unrelated note, I can't get into cav empt, all the graphics just seem a bit off. Gosha is garbage. New Yeezys look like old ones but with a Nike mercurial stripe on the toe. Brands like Schneider and MH who put out the same collection every season are nice in that they are largely immune to trends, but it gets boring fast if you already own the representative pieces. A lot of the Schneider pre-orders for next season are really not that exciting. Something like a clean hidden placket shirt or the design of the merino is interesting at first, but not for the fourth time, no idea why people would get both a merino and a memory coat, and whatever the new coat is called. Never been into burgundy. Schneider shirt jacket with MHL boots: + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]() The only thing I've bookmarked for next FW is the Undercover/Michael Borremans fishtail parka. http://www.thirdlooks.com/2016/01/undercover-fw16-mens-instant-calm-lookbook/ Haven't seen anything else interesting and wearable. Slightly regretting not jumping on this Dries coat when it was on sale, probably don't have enough steeze to pull it off but it's just so nice: + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]()

I find Gosha ridiculous tbh. Yeezy S3 is pretty boring. I love Schneider and MHL, I wish I had a use for their coats. Schneider especially. But even his shirts are kinda thick, I wouldn't be able to wear them. MHL shirts fit me well I should buy more. Dries might be the next expensive thing I get. I really loved these pants and I'm kinda sad I didn't jump on it: ![]() Not sure if I could pull off the J. Tillman wearing Dries look but I love it

(Quick fit pic of my memory): + Show Spoiler + ![]() Feeling pretty stagnant myself - I used to read a lot of mfa and mf and various self-proclaimed "style blogs" when I first started but much less nowadays. I never really got into care tags because of the bizarre thread titles and the difficulty of reading on mobile. I search grailed for the same brands over and over again, check the SF/SUFU waywt threads, SF random fashion thoughts to keep up with "news", NMWA affiliate thread, and a bunch of random tumblrs. Any suggestions, y'all?

I was sort of into it for like a year and a half or so but I don't think I was ever -that- into it as a hobby and the novelty has worn off for me recently.
