apparently the short lining is necessary for it to look right when worn closed, the knit part of the lining is also thinner. Pockets are lower so the overall shape is closer to the merino than the memory. Pretty sure that'll be a sweater cuz I've never seen a Schneider vest.

Also the plain bombers are cool, not the merino bomber which looks fucking weird.

if the ribbing on the turtleneck matches the cuffs and collar i think it would look good actually. but if it's different it might be off

shoes look too chunky from the front, makes the fit look bottom heavy but it might just be the angle of the pic

shoes are very chunky which is part of the appeal. The ribbings kind of match but wasn't planned. What's wrong with turtleneck though, too formal? SF said my jeans are too tight but that's just my thighs. I think this can be worn with more tailored stuff too, trousers, knits, etc.

just noticed - the hand on the bomber looks good with the black splotch on the shoes. i think it balances the shoes' chukyness, but the turtleneck stretches the top (black) too much and the weighting is off

I like the chunkiness of the lf1's in general. They seem more distinctive than a lot of the other minimalist sneakers atm.

I'm not really a fan of the black turtleneck in general here as I think takes away from the appeal of the bomber.

I would wear the grey sweater underneath instead
