I'm having a hard time thinking of anything to wear with jeans, it used to be like "jeans go with everything" but now I realize they don't go with anything. Flannels which I don't like, random slim fitted knits of which I only have a few... what else? Lad musician sweatshirt came in, fits perfect, extra long, will definitely get more. Eyeing grail OG helmut lang coat on SF probably gonna cop

depends on what color jeans
grey/charcoal/black is a lot more versatile than indigo for the clothing you're buying

agreed and I got a pair of black somets but they're more charcoal than black, and charcoal really only goes with grey, not true black tops. So right now I'm wearing uniqlo black tapereds more than anything. But I love my blue somets and they fit the best although I have like nothing but button ups I longer wear for them, too cold for tees now.

For versatility I would get a black stooges because it'd be super low profile anyway.

But if you're gonna go hard, I'd get the white for high contrast because I love my white shoes with black pants.

Yeah it's waxed cotton. I actually won't be wearing the hood like 99% of the time but I just needed something lightweight for layering. It being waxed and slightly water repellent is a big plus.

Anyone here have some Naked and Famous denim that could provide me some insight into how much their pants tend to stretch? I ordered 2 pairs of skinnyguys and found that the measurements listed online are... generous. Ive got muscular legs but they aren't so big that skinny jeans are out of the question, however these size 30s measure like size 28s. If they stretch out a fair bit they might be perfectly fine or should I just try and exchange them for a size or 2 up/wierdguys?

Haha I'm with you zulu_nation8, I don't really know what to make of my indigo jeans. If you're like me, I think that you have to think completely out the box (your usual box I mean) to get a sense of how to use them. Like, dress in ways you've never tried :D. I personally like to experiment with brighter colors in general (both top and shoes), even though I'm a classic dark shades kinda guy usually.

cant tell without pics, blueowl measurements are usually accurate. If thighs fit but waist too small, keep, if thighs and waist are both too small, exchange. Thighs don't really stretch, waist stretches a lot.

I own 3 pairs of N&F so I'll chime in. The waist probably stretches 1-2 inches. I went from not needing a belt to having to wear one as a requirement. I also sit down a lot so that helps in stretching it out. I would get whatever you can that buttons up and go through a week of discomfort.

wore schneider moth cardigan out today for the first time, the things fucking majestic but I just had tshirt and jeans otherwise and I feel they're not worthy of the drape. Really don't know what else I can wear underneath though, all the pictures that come to mind are of other schneider button ups and I really don't wanna wear button ups. Will post fit later, the thing is warmer and better looking than I thought when I first handled it, almost coat length when unbuttoned.
