are flyknits lunars a good choice? I heard old flyknits were actually awful for running, but they massively improved to sole for the new lunars. should I get them, and what's the difference between trainers and racers? are roshe runs/free runs a good alternative? minimalist looks are a plus but they don't have to be a specific type of silhouette or whatever; for this type of clothing I'm looking for utility over aesthetic. because of my probation habits, something with structure/support would be preferred. I am not going to be running marathons, maybe 2 miles at most (max 15 minutesish), so not going to be spending too much time in them.

I didn't particularly enjoy running in my lunars, but that's because my feet need a different kind of cushioning. I keep them on walking duty strictly, and they feel awesome. They're almost a year old now though, since I got them right at release. So I dunno about the new ones. I think regardless though, if your feet need support, flyknits aren't really gonna be great. The flywire upper isn't super sturdy (which is bad in your case). Also the laces don't really stay tight that well, so you'll get room between your foot and the tongue. The lunar sole has cushion, but I didn't like them. Has a little arch, not much. I wouldn't do much athletic stuff in Roshes. Not really built for anything but lounging and walking. I have free 3.0s (super low profile) and i like them a lot for anything athletic. I've played basketball in them without hurting my soles, so the bottom is okay for pressure, but they're low and light enough that my runs feel natural. I would recommend some kind of free run, but try them on first. Dont know much about the flyknit frees (except that those are apparently good for running), nor the flyknit airmax. You should def go into a running store and get something matched though. Even for short runs like that, it'll add up quickly. All the same, here's links for all the flyknits - sale for the next day (25% off and free shipping) free flyknit trainer racer lunar if we're talking about colorways, the best ones are black/white trainer/racer, navy multi trainer, wolf gray lunar, and the sequoia lunar also i just kopped this with some socks taking advantage of the clearance.

I didn't like the flyknit frees, they felt more like socks with soles than anything else, and they're pretty thin. The nike store I stepped into didn't have a wide selection of running shoes so I wasn't able to try them on too well. I will try the 3.0s, apparently v5s are the new thing to run in.

Havent tried their USA service but their euro one was very fast (but a little pricey)
