At home (windows+firefox) I have it unblocked, but at my work computer (ubuntu + firefox) I cant figure out how to unblock it... help anyone?
I go to the "adblock plus preferences" but it only gives a hhuuuuuuggee list of things to block, and ive no idea which ones are from TL... at home I could easily change it to not block anything on teamliquid.net. but i cant find that setting at work. me be nab hlp pl0x.

I had adblock on everywhere for years, but just now I got off my lazy ass and made an exception for teamliquid.net.

I don't, but I'm starting to think about reenabling it. Like 90% of the ads I get are for Asian dating/mail-order bride services and they really bother me.

The elephant is WAY TOO CUTE for me to turn adblock off.

It's nothing personal, I just hate ads. I've been brainwashed by ads ever since my birth, and now whenever I have the opportunity to make them disappear, I go for it.
As far as supporting esports, I've spent more than 150$ on premium streams since sc2 release. Most of these tournaments, if not all of them, featured Liquid players. So I guess that counts.

The elephant made me turn it off obviously.

I don't use an Adblocker at all, NoScript is more than enough. Unfortunatly, I cannot "unban" good sites like TL, since the scripts come from different domains. So I manually activate ads if possible, but not only on TL.

I'm just going to hide the ads on TL instead of blocking them.

TL is a community site for some esports, but it does not directly invest its assets to esports. Your argument is completely valid : / IT HAS AN ESPORTS TEAM AND IT RUNS A LEAGUE. HOW IS THAT NOT DIRECTLY INVESTING TO ESPORTS QFT seriously, how could you say they don't support esports?

Put me in the "Yes because I'm lazy" category....
Oh, and because I have bought two t-shirts from them, one of which was $35!!! (even though it is awesome) Plus I hit this site like 30 times a day across work and home and I'm sure that generates a bit of revenue as well. I don't feel bad about my laziness.

Since sometimes the ads are very disturbing, I rather see an elephant crying! I do it turn it off when I'm watching streams.

I don't adblock any stream or anything.
Partially because I care about e-sports.
Partially because I don't know how to.
|
Yes I run adblock.
No I ain't turning it off.
Not that I hate e-sports.
I'm just not interested in SC2 e-sports.
That's all.
Peace and all that.

Same, I tried it again when I saw the elephant, but put it back on when these ads appeared.

I use host files to block ads, so I can't make an exception for one site.

I disable it on some pages(like streams that are getting super ad happy) and I disable it pretty much everything else.
TL is the only site for which I disable adblock.

No because I always see the dating ads T.T

disabled it yesterday after i noticed the banner or something like that
