The thing that strikes me the most, and the thing I want to say here, is how treating her well has really endeared her to me. Her ex-boyfriend (and being kind of a nerdy girl, the only other person that she has been seriously involved with) was kind of an asshole, who, admittedly, had his problems, but still didn't necessarily give her the respect she deserved (and also was terrible in the sack, which makes my somewhat above average skills look godly XD). But just by treating her well, and wanting her to develop herself and her goals independent of me, I've made her really become more attached to me. As such, what I think I wanna say is that I understand the conundrum of "but I'm so nice to her why doesn't she like me, I'd treat her so much better than her boyfriend, etc." first hand, but I don't think that's true. It's just that women find confidence very attractive (it's the equivalent of men and physical attraction I think), and that someone needs to attracted to you sexually in order to discover the kind hearted dude you are underneath it all, which is the person that she'll fall in love with. I'm no model, but I've been with more women than the average (not that it's really a measure of anything significant) in just 5 years of being sexually active, and it's because I can dress myself and have a sense of humour and cofidence. So just my advice, don't abandon the nice hearted kid at the centre of it all, just learn to make people, for lack of a better word, want to jump you, and they'll discover it in time. | ||

He can go to the gym, learn to dress well, but more importantly learn to act more confidently. Both genders have opportunities to increase their attractiveness to the opposite sex, although I would maybe agree women have it simpler, whereas men have more potential for growth. Since a woman's attractiveness depends much more heavily on appearance, there is only a certain point she can reach with what she's been given. Men on the other hand don't have such tangible limits because their attractiveness depends moreso on personality and confidence than appearance. You might be right in saying that 'most guys don't care if she's a 6 or a 9' but I disagree. Or rather not disagree, but instead would like to say that a high quality woman does not want "most guys," she wants an equally high quality man. This man most likely has a higher baseline of appearance in women he is attracted to, since most girls would be attracted to him. Not sure if I articulated that correctly, and I would love to hear a woman's point of view on the subject. | ||
