We are extremely close to shutting down this thread for the same reasons the PUA thread was shut down. While some of the time this thread contains actual discussion with people asking help and people giving nice advice, it often gets derailed by rubbish that should not be here. The moderation team will be trying to steer this thread in a different direction from now on.
Posts of the following nature are banned: 1) ANYTHING regarding PUA. If your post contains the words 'alpha' or 'beta' or anything of that sort please don't hit post. 2) Stupid brags. You can tell us about your nice success stories with someone, but posts such as 'lol 50 Tinder matches' are a no-no. 3) Any misogynistic bullshit, including discussion about rape culture. 4) One night stands and random sex. These are basically brags that invariably devolve into gender role discussions and misogynistic comments.
Last chance, guys. This thread is for dating advice and sharing dating stories. While gender roles, sociocultural norms, and our biological imperative to reproduce are all tangentially related, these subjects are not the main purpose of the thread. Please AVOID these discussions. If you want to discuss them at length, go to PMs or start a blog. If you disagree with someone's ideologies, state that you disagree with them and why they won't work from a dating standpoint and move on. We will not tolerate any lengthy derailments that aren't directly about dating. |

Sex with a partner is more enjoyable because: 1. she knows the weird shit you're into and vice versa 2. you're much more relaxed 3. you can go in bare-skinned 4. you can go in bare-skinned 5. you can go in bare-skinned! How the fuck do you come wearing a rubber? 6. afterwards, you can cuddle without being a creep 7. you know exactly how far you can go and when you go a bit further, you're not likely to freak her out 8. if she likes it rough, you don't need to be afraid she claims you've raped her afterwards
New is exciting and interesting.
You sound you're into some real weird shit and are super nervous about showing it to a girl when you don't know if she'll be down for it. So yeah maybe for sure strange isn't so great for you.
Personally there's nothing more exciting than having sex with someone you don't really know.

Do you just roll the dice and hope she really does take the pill? That's the biggest turn-off for me, if I don't know her, I have to assume she is either dishonest or lax with her birth control...
I don't understand how anyone can climax wearing a a condom

I don't understand how anyone can climax wearing a a condom its interesting you're more worried about pregnancy than an STI. my biggest fear of having casual sex is getting herpes, AIDS or something else that will make my dick fall off. if i don't know the girl, i assume her pussy is similar to a thai's prostitutes; the fact that she is willing to have casual sex just reinforces my fears.

STD is a huge life hindrance, pregnancy with the wrong girl is life ending

STD is a huge life hindrance, pregnancy with the wrong girl is life ending pregnancies are curable (abortion, which is quite common at least in the U.S.) and i think its unlikely a woman you barely know is going to want to raise a baby with you so the issue is monetary; AIDS will kill you, herpes is non-curable, other STIs are no biggie (most are curable).
anyways, thats just me. i just think its interesting pregnancy is a bigger fear than STIs for two people now.

thats why I said the wrong person. If she doesn't want to get an abortion you are done, especially if you are a college aged person or younger
even if she doesn't want to raise it with you, child support and all that jazz.

Pregnancy will potentially ruin three lives, whereas contracting a disease will only ruin yours.

I do not understand why a woman would not take birth control while sleeping around (and I likewise don't know why any guy would not put on a condom while sleeping around). Like, I know the reasons why some women would want a baby out of casual partner, but I just don't understand on a deeper level why; it seems like a horrible idea all-around.
Then again, I also find it boggling that any woman would ever want to be pregnant, period.

Dated for 4 years. Last 7 months she's been seeing some dude and didn't tell me ever. Fucking proposed to her. Left me once I found out.
Claims I've raped her because she regretted it in retrospect.
I feel fine and I'm scared that it's gonna come out of nowhere and I'm gonna do something stupid.

Because those women that sleep around also aren't the smartest. :p

It doesn't always have anything to do with intelligence.

I think he specifically meant the ones that don't take birth control while sleeping around. Though I guess they don't have to worry about the partner not wanting to get an abortion.

I feel fine and I'm scared that it's gonna come out of nowhere and I'm gonna do something stupid. Wut. So were you dating and then she started seeing some dude for like 7 months and you JUST found out? Or was it you dated her for 4 years and stopped and now shes been seeing a guy for 7 months that you didn't know about? so if its numero uno first of all you probably should have learned about it if its been going on for 7 MONTHS which is a fucking horrible thing on her part for seeing 2 people at once and keeping you in the dark. In addition, she is now claiming you raped her after she broke up with you right? This is super vague problem. If its numero due then its really none of your business.
Women lying about being raped scares the living shit out of me. Like should I carry a small like card that say consent to sex? Anyways good luck man. She sounds like a scumbag.

There' s this girl (we are both college students) that i hooked up with twice... and didnt hook up again when she got a bf. Their relationship lasted for a year but once they broke up she called me over and we had sex once. That was before the summer.. We were not in the same area so we texted each other a couple of times, met up once.. but when we got back to college after the summer break i just couldnt get her to follow any of my requests. I asked her out 4 times, shes always busy (but she is) but she never reschedules on her own volition. we were about to room together for a quick weekend getaway this week (so i was like hell yes!) , but she found someone else to room with (some girl) and she immediately changed her plans. But she keeps texting (maybe for emotional validation) so...
a) is this recoverable? b) is this worth recovering?
Some background on this girl: I know shes a little on the party-girl side, i know a couple of the guys shes hooked up with before so I figured getting together after she turned single shouldn't be too hard but clearly this isn't the case.

Having sex if you feel like it with someone you might be attracted to does not hint on his/her intelligence.
Many women dont take the pill cause it freaks their bodies out so they use condoms. Even on birth control, use a freakin condom...
Some opinions here are really really really far from reality...

Some opinions here are really really really far from reality... Okay, this is true, but it's also one of those things that doesn't make sense in the long run to me. I understand that some birth control pills mess up hormones pretty badly, but it's a bit of trial and error, right? Logically, you would want to keep at it until you find the right one, because the consequences of SURPRISE PREGNANCY >>> not having sex for a while until you figure out which pill is the best for you.
I agree with the general gist of your post though: a woman wanting to have casual sex does not make her more or less intelligent, just like a guy wanting to have casual sex does not make him more or less intelligent.
Not wanting to practice safe sex does speak a little bit on priorities though, which may reflect on intelligence.

Not wanting to practice safe sex does speak a little bit on priorities though, which may reflect on intelligence. About the pill part: That's not exactly true. A lot of girls get so hormonally fucked by the pill that they are scared to try other ones. That and adjusting to a new pill is not only painful from a somatic perspective, but the mood swings and everything else make it hard to live life. The pill is also shown to be unhealthy IIRC, so not all girls would want to be on the pill. It's not all good and no bad, in fact there are a lot of negatives that come with the pill.
There is also the plan B pill, but after experiencing what having to buy/give that someone is like, I would never want to re-experience that. It was terrible.
