We are extremely close to shutting down this thread for the same reasons the PUA thread was shut down. While some of the time this thread contains actual discussion with people asking help and people giving nice advice, it often gets derailed by rubbish that should not be here. The moderation team will be trying to steer this thread in a different direction from now on.
Posts of the following nature are banned:
1) ANYTHING regarding PUA. If your post contains the words 'alpha' or 'beta' or anything of that sort please don't hit post.
2) Stupid brags. You can tell us about your nice success stories with someone, but posts such as 'lol 50 Tinder matches' are a no-no.
3) Any misogynistic bullshit, including discussion about rape culture.
4) One night stands and random sex. These are basically brags that invariably devolve into gender role discussions and misogynistic comments.

So this past 5 years, I finally started hangin' out with this girl, whom I've been aquainted with on several occasions through friends and so on .. shes really sweet,.. shes got some anxiety problems and stress-related old problems that needs fixin'.. very naive.. and not my type from the get-to.. but she's very natural and loveable.. and totally non-bullshittery person.. very loyal, honest and earnest.. just sweet and cool.. and a demon in the sack..
and of course now she decideded to move to holland to.. try something different for a year, before returning and finding out what she wants to study..

That sucks but it would be selfish to stop her from going. Finding out what you want in life is almost always more important than a relationship, because if you aren't happy with yourself, it will be very hard to be happy with your relationship.

Well... I wouldn't want it done to me, for one. I'm not 100% what the nature of his relationship is, and maybe they have an "open" relationship.
I guess it is personal opinion. I think it is pretty scummy, but that's me. If his wife knew about it, would she be ok with it? If so, then I guess it doesn't matter.

How does a person commit to another person if they're agreeing to a polygamous/ open relationship? I feel like that kind of "commitment" is very different than what it takes to be fully committed to one person.
