I love how sc primary voters decided that the family values candidate they want elected is the one who has remarried multiple times and is the only speaker to ever be sanctioned for ethics violations. Somehow the frothy one got no love... maybe because Gingrich is a Southerner? One word: Mormon. I think that's a big reason why evangelicals don't like him.

He's in last place in SC, and they only showed the top 3. OH NO! Yea...your right. I think I'm overreacting since I heard the media is always trying to harm his candidacy. Sorry. But damn...Newt Gingrich's win is huge for him. If he takes Florida, it will be extremely hard for any of the candidates to catch up to him.

IIRC is it that the republican who wins SC becomes the candidate, or does Romney still have a good chance if he loses?

South Carolina has chose the candidate for the Republicans since 1980. Romney still has a shot, given how this election has changed so many times.

Since SC's delegates were cut in half, I have a feeling that it won't be as big of a deal this time around. This thing will probably last much longer than a lot of news outlets are suggesting.

Gingrich's negatives have been through the roof for ages, but Romney's are starting to rise also. Whoever becomes the candidate needs to swing back to the middle to get elected, and the longer this takes the more difficult that's going to become.
