My computer speakers and youtube quality just don't do it justice, but we can say the same for most of the other songs in this thread.

This probably won't appeal to many people because it's without lyrics, but it's a beautiful classic piece by a great japanese composer. + Show Spoiler +

This band was the first to show me some really meaningful lyrics. They do it in every song.

Song name: Lufia 2 - Last duel (arranged version) Link: + Show Spoiler + Explanation: This song is played during a critical point in the game towards the end. It really explains the moment and how the hero feels towards his goal. Without any spoilers, it makes you feel like your the hero in this moment, after a huge story line event it makes you feel as though you are the only one who can go on. edit: to mention, it is an arranged version, so its not the OST. I just prefer this to the original, as i feel it provides a much stronger feeling.

+ Show Spoiler + Explanation: As far as the rap/hip hop genre goes, I really haven't found anyone else that so commonly touches on real themes without the excessive bullshit and is able through the rhythm, music, and lyrics to elicit the type of raw emotion that I feel when I listen to his songs. Eminem has really grown from a gimmicky white kid talking bullshit into one of the finest rappers of our generation. He really does have the rare ability to take you into his mind and his message with his songs. I feel that's really what's given him a type of lasting appeal and why I feel that people should listen to him.
