What is a "high school graduation"? What exactly is being awarded? We don't have them in UK, or at least in my secondary school / sixth form. Are the failures of school education who didn't get any qualifications not invited or are they told sit in a corner out of the way of the ones who did? I find the whole idea strange.
I believe the UK equivalent would be your A levels?
Its basically comes down to a piece of paper saying you have successfully completed highschool and serves as the very basic qualification for entry into College/University.

And yes those who failed to pass and have to repeat and try against next year are generally not invited.

Actually how does US school qualifications work? I have a vague awareness they have tests in everything but that's it. Therefore, what is being awarded?

With A-levels there are various grades but they are specific to a subject. You can take 3 A-levels or take 10 at once for all anyone cares (normally 3-5), and you can "pass" some and fail others, so there isn't a real way to "graduate". You simply acquire qualification in a specific subject. You can happily fail some subjects.

Actually how does school qualifications work in Netherlands? I know they do things differently down in the continent.

You keep the robes? Mine for was only hired for the day. Also, you wear graduation robes for high school? That devaluation. What do you wear for university graduation then? Bishop cope and mitre?

US schools are generally grades 1 through 12 (often with kindergarten before grade 1), with grades 9-12 being high school, and grades 1-8 being some combination of the names elementary/ primary/ middle/ junior high. Kindergarten typically starts around 5 years old, and 12th graders are typically around 18 years old when they graduate. If you pass your courses for the year and attend enough days of school, you typically receive credit for the school year and move on to the next grade, towards 12. Meeting better-than-average requirements, such as receiving As in certain classes, often allows students to take more challenging tracks and classes (honors classes, Advanced Placement classes, etc.). As long as a student passes enough high school classes and any required standardized testing, they'll complete credit for high school and graduate. From there, high school graduates will decide whether the next step in their life is college, starting a job, or something else.

Wait, so you get 1 score? Pass or fail? How do universities know you are suited to their courses or not?

In most US high school courses, you get grades of A, B, C, D, F, where F (and sometimes D) are considered failing/ not passing grades. There are often times + or - are used as delineators/ sub-categories as well, such as A+, A+, A-, B+, B, B-, C+... These tend to be standardized into a 4.0 or 5.0 grade point average (GPA), so you end up with a single number that can be compared to other students' GPAs from different schools. A 4.2 GPA is higher than a 3.1 GPA, signifying that your grades, overall, were higher.

The overall high school transcript shows which courses you particularly excelled at, which you struggled in, how challenging and stacked your courseload was (based on honors and AP classes), etc.

Edit: Grades of an A value are usually around 90-100% on an assignment or assessment or marking period or year; B is around 80-89%; C is around 70-79%; D is around 60-69%; F is often below 60%. Getting an 88% on a test usually means you earned a B or a B+ on that test.

*note my information is over a decade out of date, it's been a while since I went to school and things can have changed since*

Highschool in the Netherlands is ages 12 to 16-18. Students are divide into different 'skill' levels for a lack of better word. (vmbo/havo/vwo, intended to prepare you for practical jobs, college and university respectively). These are further divided into different directions of focus, partly in fixed subjects and some that students pick themselves. So you might go more biology/chemistry or more towards mathametics or economy ect.

Grading 1-10 and need 6's in most subjects to advance to the next year. Same for graduation, you can fail 1-2 subjects and still graduate.
And while that is technically a pass/fail overall to graduate you do have a grade list for your subjects attached to it, so when you try to move on to study Biology in university while having failed biology your likely to get declined while they probably don't care if you ended up failing history.

Where do/would you guys go for Hearthstone help, potential coaching, etc.? The official subreddit removes lower-level type questions, so I couldn't even get an idea of discords to try.

I know all the "big name" sites, but they're basically just a bunch of deck lists and tiers. I have "good" decks (Spell/Dragon Druid, Pirate Warrior, Face Hunter) and am still losing. So I'm just looking for some help because obviously my fundamentals are pretty bad.

Does anyone know where to get Korean subtitled shows in general? My wife doesn’t want me to ask because she doesn’t realize that we must know. Our family unit needs more laughing together.

KBS World on Youtube has some KBS shows. https://www.youtube.com/c/kbsworldtv/playlists

Viki has licensed but mostly fan-subtitled shows which can be streamed (with ads) or you can pay for access.

Then Netflix/Amazon etc have also picked up some shows which they are adding. There are probably other sites too but those are the ones I know of.
HOLY CHECK!

In german, it would be called "Hohlkugel", empty sphere. Wikipedia tells me that the english translation would be "spherical shell"

Do people who play loud music through their phones on public transport do that because they're unaware of how wrong it is or do they just not care?

I think they get some kind of thrill from violating social conventions. Some people enjoy judgment from others, it makes them feel superior.

They could also be idiots who suck at empathy. I can totally imagine a train of thought like:

I like this music
Therefore this music is good
Therefore everyone else should also like this music
Therefore i am doing them a service by delivering this music to them.

This is slightly my boss, the only exception is that he wants you to watch the youtube video with him (which is ofc cranked to maximum volume). It continues forever unless he has something to do for work.

Business trips a torture.
