Anecdotal evidence: My grandfather is a hobby fisher on the north sea. 15-20 years ago, he used to return with 10-20 eels after a fishing trip. Nowadays, it is usually 1-3. There used to be loads of eels to smoke, and even some smaller ones to just fry in a pan. Nowadays, every eel gets smoked, and there are not a lot of them. This experience is mirrored in that of all his fisher buddies, and i personally experienced that decline. | ||

 Team LiquidIt all started with the clan Team Liquid. The clan was founded by Liquid`Nazgul around the end of 2000. After leaving [i'm] he spent about 3 months thinking about what to do next before making the decision to start his own clan which held 4 members for the first months and slowly grew to 8 players a year later. | ||

Pre Madonna generally refers to the years before Madonna was born, in the same way that we refer to BC as before Christ. Once Madonna dies, a new age of music will be ushered in, and this will be referred to as the post Madonna period. | ||

From an historical point of view, "pre Madonna" would describe the period before her birth. From an artistic standpoint "pre Madonna" would describe the music industry before it was influenced by Madonna. Although it can get more complicated than that. In painting, the preraphaelites are english painters of the XIXth century that emulate the renaissance style of italian painters from the XVth century which ends (according to them) just before the last painting of Raphael. So preraphaelites are clearly post Raphael. | ||
