My friend suggested bringing it with me to an upcoming LAN and throwing it at somebody, but it's too heavy. I can hook it up to my monitor I have now, but only through the HDMI port, and then I'd need a separate keyboard and mouse if I wanted to do anything with it. You can't, like, hook computers up to each other and increase the processing power, can you? As they say. "The next time you go fishing, use it as an anchor."

I assume that computer still works, only that the current OS is just slow as hell (the typical crap that happens when having a computer and using Windows on it for several years). The computer is slow, sure, but you could install a Linux-Distro (such as DSL = Damn Small Linux) and then it should actually run pretty fast compared to before. At least stuff like chatting, browsing, office work and multi media stuff like playing videos/music it should be able to do just fine. And you could use it as a way to start learning to use Linux. Of course without knowing the actual specs of your PC, this could also be a futile attempt.

I did the same thing, had an old computer and decided to install LXLE (lightweight ubuntu based OS) on it rather than throw it out. Turns out that now it runs relatively smoothly and can do basic tasks like internet browsing and office without much problem. Then again, my computer was ~7-8 years old and had a dual core processor. If your computer is older or has weaker specs then it might be more worthwhile to just throw out.

Doing finances, dealing with organizers and sponsors, making sure all laws are upheld etc. is work that takes a lot of time. If athletes would do it themselfes, they would have less time to actually practice their sport. In the end those athletes would win competitions that make other people do that work. And that is pretty much how it is right now.

Thanos is a marvel villian, a comic figur, with the goal of anihilating everything. By doing this he wants to attract death (death is often shown as female entinity). Yep, he really is crazy. But what does he do when he reaches it and everything and everyone is anihilated? Will he sit on a rock for the rest of his life? (he is immortal btw)
