I feel like a fucking retard these days. On a bunch of quizzes and homeworks I get a bunch of shit wrong just because for some reason I can't manage negative and positive signs well or I mistake a number for another number. Ofc I get partial credit for it and it's not like I don't know the material so my grades are ok, but it seriously makes me think I have a fucking problem because I KNOW I have this problem with calculations but I still manage to fuck it up every time. Like that bronze player that knows he shouldn't do X but still continues to do X because god knows why. Also really struggling with my major. The classes barely teach me anything so I'm having to do a bunch of self study outside of school. Other classmates seem just as lost if not more. Really disappointed with this school but I guess I was prepared for it since I'm going to transfer. But holy fuck I've lost so much free time this semester and even with smart time management, I've lost probably like 300% of the freetime I had last semester. Really busting ass atm. And then I feel bad because I know I could probably still do more to get ahead (which is actually pretty much required to succeed in my major) but I can't handle a purely sleep, work, study schedule or I'll go crazy. Fuck man I need to focus more on the positive than the negatives but I'm just so unsatisfied with myself. It's not like I have low self esteem, but more like constant disappointment in myself cause I have high self esteem? I dunno, whatever it is it sucks. Back to grinding in life.

Like that bronze player that knows he shouldn't do X but still continues to do X because god knows why. + Show Spoiler + I had the same issue when I was in university but only for exams. I would do poorly on math tests and it was always because of little tiny errors I that I would inadvertently make and just wouldn't notice. Like not even calculation errors, but things like writing down a minus sign instead of a plus when going to the next line of a problem. I would realize after and get incredibly frustrated with myself. It was never the concepts that were the issue. I used to tutor people who would go on to do better than me on exams. That's how bad it got for me. I honestly do think it is some kind of problem because I would do old tests for practice and do well on them and then go to do the actual exam and tank it badly because of stupid little errors or a mental block on a question I could normally do trivially. It's an incredibly frustrating thing to say the least. It definitely had an impact on my GPA.

People who say shit like "free healthcare isn't free" and go on to explain that it's paid for through taxation will never understand how fucking retarded they are. Literally everyone they tell that to understand it, but they explain it like they stumbled on some obscure pebble of knowledge. Fuck you.

These are the kinds of days where I just really question whether or not my life has been worth anything or if it ever will be. Sometimes I pray for the relief of death.

My roommate has gone completely insane. I woke up at 6 am today to him making strange loud grumbling noises and then a huge bang. It really sounded like he might have shot himself but I was too scared to investigate. Luckily (or not) he turned on his computer 10 minutes later and started playing an old jurassic park video game he showed me a while ago with the volume playing through his speakers loud enough that I couldn't sleep. Every so often, I would hear him laugh maniacally like an actual crazy person. You would think it might be something in the game he was laughing at (along with making his weird noises) but he went into the bathroom a little bit later and turned the shower on. While it was running, he started laughing maniacally again, made that weird grumbling noise, then spoke to himself, "Yeah you like that you fucking idiot?" He slams every door he closes as hard as he can it seems. He left and came back to the dorm 4 times within a span of 10 minutes. I was fucking scared. He kept making grumbling noises every so often during this period of about 2 hours. The best way I could describe it is, you know how Sans talks in Undertale? It sounded exactly like that, except louder and higher pitched. Before he left the 4th time, he turned the air conditioning on and left again. I decided to make a break for it then. I don't have class til 12:30 and I left my dorm at 8. Didn't shower cause I didn't want to take the risk. I took a roundabout way to the student union and now I'm sitting in the bathroom typing this out. He was normal when I spoke with him yesterday. I'll just try to stay on his good side and lock the door from now on. I can't see getting an RA involved with no proof, and I don't want to get on his bad side either.

Honorary doctorates are cool in some cases (and unjustified in others), but to be clear: it's an award, and *not* the equivalent of receiving a PhD or MD. These people do not become actual doctors (neither academic nor medical). So feel free to celebrate the achievement and recognition, because people generally don't receive honorary doctorates for *no* reason... but they do not become Dr. X, and it's a snub at real doctors to equivocate real doctorates with honorary ones. Nonetheless, congratulations to someone deemed important enough to receive even an honorary degree! "By convention, recipients of honorary doctorates do not use the title "Dr" in general correspondence ... The degree is often conferred as a way of honouring a distinguished visitor's contributions to a specific field or to society in general.[3] It is often given to graduation speakers at a university or college, and the university may derive benefits by association with the person in question. The degree is not recognized by employers as having the same stature as a corresponding earned doctorate degree and should not be represented as such. It is sometimes recommended that such degrees be listed in one's CV as an award, and not in the education section.[4] ... a university (or other degree-awarding institution) has waived the usual requirements, such as matriculation, residence, study and the passing of examinations." ~ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honorary_degree

Congratulations Germany, you fucked up again.Sure voting for someone that can´t sing will definitly get us 1st place at the Eurovison Song Contest 2016. Avantasia should have won. They have some reach in Europe. The only good thing about her is the outfit because she likes Manga Style. Which would be good if Japan would actually be included in the voting.
