Long-term unemployment in sweden has been high ever since the mid 80's and is essentially linked to horrible labour market regulations and enormous tax pressure building up ever since the 60s. The police and legal system prosecute the people, rather than protect them. The attitude towards work is terrible. The standard of labor jobs is very low. The education system is poor. The education system can easily be manipulated because it's corrupt. The police are corrupt. In most cases Arabs are above the law. The social scale is all about the colour of your skin and where you come from. The drinking age is 21 There isn't a big social life for expats. The cities are more than poorly designed The road systems are the worst I have ever seen or even known of. No seriously, throw a pile of spaghetti on the floor and you'll get a better lay out. The drivers are TERRIBLE Arabs think they own the road and think nothing of cutting you up, speeding, lane discipline. There is no such thing as road rules. The labor, Visa and residence laws are extremely flawed. Electronics are WAY over priced. You get charged VAT (British Tax) on most imported items, even though the Country is tax free. Overly, and in-your-face Religious. Everyone, not matter who must fast in public during certain times of year. No alcohol is some Emerites, and others are strictly regulated. I think that's about it for now. I could go on and on though. | ||

The other day I had to take the garbage out Hector the man servant did not show up to clean.I had to take the garbage to my car BMW m6 and because the garbage can was more than 10 feet away decided to pile the garbage on my car and drive it 30 feet now to the can.So what that one bag feel off I mean i did pick it up and throw it on the sidewalk.I did take the other bag to the garbage. O man we got robbed off all our dank and some of our game systems etc...by gunpoint, so after they leave I decide to call the cops and get arrested for the other 2 pounds in my closet and all the smoking paraphernalia...Thank god I have a rich daddy to help me through these difficult times. And whats up with all these Mexicans in Arizona I thought they got kicked out.\ This is pretty much the typical mindset of the college fools I get to deal with daily.My weekday job happens to be located right in the middle of high end condos catering to the richer UofA students. Oh I see. So we basically restrict freedom because a couple of irresponsible people messed it up for everyone. If you aren't harming anyone else I'm all for doing whatever you want to yourself. Yes smoking and drinking have an economical cost to society... So do Prisons. Get rid of those? So do Fat People...and they actually put a HUGE strain on society cost wise, what do you propose should be done about that? So does just about everything else. Drinking and driving is already illegal just about everywhere but prohibition FAILS and we have a perfect example of WHY it fails in the US back in the 1920-1930's. I don't think your point really holds up in the grand scheme of things. | ||

In many people's eyes you would be seen as a racist for voting for them. A good part of their voters are actually racist, aswell as some of the people who are politically active in the party. Their main issue is to restrict immigration from non-european countries. Is that racist? Maybe, but in Sweden you really can't have a debate about it, because the majority of people will see you as a racist person if you are going to vote for SD or even if you bring up the debate about immigration. It's quite sad actually. My parents are not swedish, and I would certainly not vote for SD, but labling them as extremists is just ridiculous, especially when we have a real communist party, "Vänster Partiet", in the Riksdag, with a leader, Lars Ohly, that said that it was a sad day when the Berlin wall fell. They are as much extremists in my eyes as SD is. | ||

For example, you can't buy a game in English if there's a French version available. No English For You I also think there was some law about no English signs in stores. Also, our treatment of the First Nations is pretty terrible, but I think that goes for many countries. Meh, I don't have many negatives to say about Canada, I think it's a pretty sweet place to live. Oh, and the leafs are terrible, but I'm hoping that will change in the next few seasons. EDIT: Researched a bit, and the no English sign law was argued and struck down and bashed by the UN for being unconstitutional, but they still want signs to be predominately French. They also tried to stop children from learning English, but that was also fought. | ||
