Keep it civil guys.

Alright I am sick of warning people: Trolling, flame baiting, and derailing will result in insta bans.
The same goes for conspiracy theorists and stupidity generally.

Confirmation was as follows
- On-site DNA test which came back as 99% positive.
- photos of face sent to CIA and confirmed with photo analysis
- confirmed by 20 year old wife who live in pakistan.

This thread is specifically dedicated to the details surrounding the raid/his death.

So I wont believe it until their is a NON-Goverment affiliated autopsy, but I'm 99.9% sure that won't happen. Also no reason to rejoice for the lives lost on 9/11, Osama wasn't even involved. Regardless if he really is dead then that just one less tyrant involved with the Bush family.

also to those brave men that went into that compound where he was allegedly raided are hero's for those who have lost their lives in the hunt for Osama and other Taliban leaders.

I just despise people who believe in unfounded conspiracy theories. How about you set the same high standards of proof to what loose change, the truth movement and michael moore claims that you do towards the government? Double standard much?

Anyways, America - Fuck Yeah has been seen like at least half a million times today, thats hilarious. I`m actually really happy about this.

from cnn live update.

Imagine being that team and training for a mission like that?? talk about intense

Yes, intense indeed. There are about ~3,000 men like that, and perhaps another few thousand similar, from other outfits like the PJs, CCs, green berets, rangers, marsoc, force recon, etc. The reality is, the mission was typical for them. They train to this much and far more, everyday. They'll be back at it tomorrow, mark my words.

I'm not disagreeing with you in any way but I believe the point trying to be made was how many times does that mission actually involve the (former) number 1 most wanted man in the world? It makes you a little more nervous, or it seems like it should.

These guys are so well-trained that nervousness wouldn't mess them up. We're talking the best special forces team in the world here.

Not to take away from a fantastic team but I think Mossad teams rival (and probably exceed) any U.S. special forces in sheer ability.

Its not exactly accurate comparing the Mossad to military special forces. As you probably know the mossad is equivilant to the CIA.

Not to say I know alot about military related things but... I would presume the absolute best teams are one's you don't really hear about if at all, no?

Mmmm not necessarily. Nice to let people you hate know that you have guys that can seriously fuck them up.

All too true, good point!

Are they? I actually don't know the official designations/separations between Special Forces and even more hush-hush operations. My apologies, you're probably right. Though the Israeli Special Forces, in that case, probably still rival U.S.

They do, I don't think they're quite at the level of Delta Force or the Navy Seals, but they're definitely up there. Spetsnaz, SAS, and others are also there as well.

Osama's compound is already on Google maps.

Apparently the mansion he was hiding in was located near a hospital, a university, and a police station. Also it seems there was a playground right across the street.

Well, I mean, mewing can be a sign of distress.

And how tragic it is to know the kittens will never grow and change... they will live in perpetual immaturity, never experiencing the finer joys of life and self-awareness. They have been robbed of a full existence...

Never doubt TL's ability to find the rough in the diamonds

Where did you get those kittens? What happened to the mom? The dad just left didn't he? and what happens when no one takes them in huh?

Chaos ensues as the entire brigade at the US naval academy storms outside for an impromptu celebration. The houses of the superintendent and commandant were stormed and they were both roused for impromptu speeches.

Great day to be in the military :D

Now how did you invent these perfect kittens? I presume through extensive and painful testing that resulted in the death of thousands of other kittens right? and why are they in a box not being taken care of? clearly they mutated beyond expectations and destroyed the lab that they were created in and everyone in it. (Think Mewtwo from the original pokemon series )

For sure, Israeli and US units tend to train with eachother from time to time.

I thought the British SAS were the best special forces team in the world? Not really so much bias there its just I heard that before. Navy seals are pretty baller though, and I'm sure Mossad is more then just the Israely CIA?
