I think they are out of line and I don't think anyone would say them to my face. However, it is the Internet and the Internet says what it damn well pleases and that is going to stop me from making the costumes I want, saying the things I believe or doing the activities I love.

Not going to lie, as crude as some of them are, they can be somewhat flattering. I think most girls won't admit it, but I'm not going to lie. If a guy finds me attractive enough that he wants to tell the whole world how he got himself off to me, well, then I guess I can count that as a compliment to my look, right? Haha, I don't approve of what a lot of people say about me, but I don't get upset about it either.

B. You should totally go as the chick with the pink hair from SC2 campaign. That hot pink hair is flippin awsome. And the ghost costumes always look the best because they aren't too terribly hard to imitate, and the real work on these costumes goes into the small details like the contacts and leds and such.

Imho just mix and match what you like best/is affordable for you.
Most people only know Mira by her face(from the campaign), so you should focus on pink hairstyle, 1 red contactlense, fake scars and headband with glowing goggles.

If you like going in a bikini costume(Cosplayers are showoffs, there I said it) you should in my opinion still go with one shoulder plate and the grenade belt and maybe pants in favor of naked legs

I can´t imagine a mercenary with naked legs. Mercenaries should, like real world soldiers, probably carry quite some equipment. (different kits for first aid, cleaning guns etc.)

About cosplays, I think a zerg cosplay would be difficult but more fun; it won't be serious, that's for sure. On the other hand, Terran can be pulled off in quite a "cool" way - any infantry unit could possibly look realistic.
