If they have the right to get $600 off you i would have thought they'd ask for more than just $20 for bribery, even if it meant getting it off you some other time, especially after the effort they put in to the chase Things like this make the story not so easy to believe, but you insist it's true so people can only speculate w00T!! | ||

But my question to Baal: Can you really get away from such serious offences with 20$? I mean what if the police would have extorted you for some more money for trying to bribe a police officer? So Iam thinking wasn't it a bit too risky to offer just 20$ ? | ||

Last time I was there, I got pulled over. The cop said I was speeding or some BS, I could either get a $50 ticket, or pay the fine there in cash for $10. Happens all the time. In Mexico, police work is considered entrepreneurial. | ||
