Anyway, I expect an excessive amount of interactions with the new cast (because there's three new roles), and I fear that will dry out the characters too quickly. Although there's nothing good writing won't do. All in all, looking forward to it. =D Yeah, it's definitely going to be a new style of Bane, just like the Joker and Scarecrow were so different in the movies before it. I wonder if they're even going to make him big

Also, Bane is one of the more simple and boring villains imo. Could be worse tho.

Personally, I enjoyed batman begins a lot, but for the dark night, I guess my expectations were just too high. I actually got bored a couple times in the dark night. IMO, I felt like there really was no big climax in the movie. I'm not saying the dark night was a bad movie. I just think batman begins is better overall. You speak the truth! I also believe Begins deserves more credit. I particularly love how the film reversed an oriental ethos in the guise of Wayne "experiencing" real life out there in route to his hero pilgrim. Katie Holmes was such a terrible cast though. It's hard to fault Dark Knight though, it had momentum on its side: Heath Ledger for a once-and-for-all Joker performance, his death, and the success of Begins. Now that we mention it, one of my all-time favorite cinematic moments is the muted scene when Joker brings his head out of the police car window to feel the breeze after escaping prison. Genius! http://reelsteve.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Tom-Hardy-as-Bronson-001.jpg Glad they picked him for this role. He has played in a lot of British films and always does a good job, also including "Bronson".

![]() Looks great IMO. Faithful to the character and still something new and fresh a la what we saw with the Joker. Bane is a great villain to use for the last act, one of the few if only Batman villains that can handle him in physical combat. I expect many twists and turns with the story. 2012 looks like a really exciting year if you are a comic book fan (TDKR, Avengers, New Spider-Man and Superman reboots, ect).

Begins had a well written story that built up suspense perfectly. Dark Knight, while a good movie, was just all over the place. You just can't fit in all those subplots: love triangle, 2-3x moral dilemmas, batman struggling with being unpopular and quitting/continuing, 4-5 different action climaxes (Dent/rachel warehouse, Hospital, Gordon's family, Boats, prolly more that i forgot...), simply too many characters and plots scattered all over. It's like spiderman 3. They try to squeeze in spiderman dilemma over whether he should continue being spiderman. Light spiderman, dark spiderman. Meteor strike. Venom, sand guy, plus some other newspaper villain. 4-5 unrelated action climaxes throughout the movie. Cmon. Just focus your energy on a stringent storyline instead and the movie will be all the better for it.

In "The Dark Knight" seems to have some lenghts in the first half of the movie, but after that it's just a blast. So i don't really get your critic of it there. Spiderman 3 was a really BAD movie, The Dark Knight is clearly a good one.
