Really? I never heard her voice - just autotune.
As Stoids said, I'm referring to the cover of Rebecca Black's video... the acoustic song, sung by Kalie. Kalie, not Rebecca Black
Disregarding that this was a pretty good cover, I'm more impressed that this girl managed to hold a straight face and not fall off her chair laughing while covering this song, I don't think I'd get through it if I tried to do the same.
My girlfriend brought up some great points when I showed her this video:
1. At least she's not singing about sex, drugs, and drinking like every other vapid pop star. 2. At least she's not dressed like a slut like every other female pop star.
I can't disagree there. As much as I hate the song, at least there's some relatively innocent music out there for young kids to enjoy (as only young kids can) without filling their heads with terrible messages.
1. true
2. only partially true, she may be dressed ok, but her makeup is that of a b / c class porn star in some scenes...

You now notice that every other girl in the video has an exaggerated mole in order to make us think that Rebecca's mole isn't really that serious. We're on to your tricks Ark Music Factory! We see through this sham! lol.

Good point haha. She did manage a nice dig at the premise of the song before she started singing though
I don't know about the rest of you guys but this song really speaks to me. I think she perfectly captures the benality of everyday life and all the little choices we have to make while emphasizing how great all the little things are. Even her whiny teenage corrected tone makes me feel like I am back in high school with all these stupid pressures and constantly being embarrassed about everything.
I think you guys should really give her a chance. It is easy to rap and sing about sex, drugs, and partying but this song is real. Bottom line, Rebecca Black is my hero.
I mean come on guys that sick bowl-cereal rhyme has to be worth something!

Holy fcuking christ guys, what's with this trend of criticizing perfomers like this girl or Bieber like our shit doesn't stink? I mean, for fcuks sake we had Britney and a hundred boybands back in our teenage years, don't tell me you didn't dance your ass to their tunes
Jesus, it's like there's some unwritten law that any person who reaches adulthood should completely forget that they were 16 once.

No, I can honestly say I have never danced to britney spears or boy bands, ever.
