I definitely wouldn't classify the OM as "super inexpensive" , but yeah, it does have huge value for money. I basically had to pick between that and the one I posted in the OP, as I like both the Orange and Yellow/Black combinations. I finally decided to go with the sports since it's not as common as the Monster (and by common, I mean I only saw it once, but I know a lot of people like it).
Nice Oris as well.

Yes maybe i should not have called it super inexpensive indeed. It's no 50 dollar fossil (no offence), but you get quite a warped view when you lust over 10k watches you would not buy in a lifetime online, then 150 dollars for such a well built watch seems a steal. I like your watch design as well, but it might be too big for me. Is that a helium valve btw as the second pusher?
Thanks, i love my oris, it is the coolest watch i ever owned :-)

Oh no, it's just a dial that controls the inside compass. Not sure exactly what use there's to it, but it looks pretty. As for the OM, it's over $400 at official resellers in Romania. Though, admittedly, they do overcharge a lot. But if we buy from amazon.com we pay 24% vat, so it still brings us to over $250. Lucky you for being able to buy it for under 200.

This is my watch.
Sometimes I also use this.

Now I wear this:

I really like moonphase watches, would like to be able to afford a constantin in the future.

Wow yes that seems very expensive indeed. There is a dutch site of a Orange monster enthusiast who imports them and sells the standard orange monster for ~160 (euro's btw, but i was too lazy to any conversion.). You can also get a lot of the rarer models from him for good prices. Guess i got lucky on that one looking at what you have to pay for it o.0

But with a solid brown strap. Belonged previously to my grandfather. Fewer photos per post please I'm really curious about this one (especially since I couldn't find the model on the internet part from another forum). It looks amazing. THIS is the kind of minimal I like, because it still looks like a watch, but very classy. Is it in good condition? Do you have any idea about how much it's worth? Also, may I show the photo to some friends on another forum? I'm curious as to what they say about it. Regarding the moon phase, yeah it will set you back a car, but the spring drive is one of the top mechanisms coming out of japan, and are on par with most swiss quality mechanisms, if not better. That being said, I don't like that model that much as far as looks go. ^_^ I really love it myself also for the same reasons you mentioned. It's quite old (manufactured in January 1976) but still works perfectly and is in very good condition. I really hope it keeps running until I die because of howmuch I love it. I have no clue whatsoever about how much it's worth.
I got this picture for Watchuseek. Mine is identical except for a little bit different strap. There are a couple more pictures in the same thread there: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f21/question-313774.html

Thanks, when I bought the Longines I was actually torn between it and an ORIS (the artelier skeleton).
I'm curious, how do you like your ORIS? Yours looks beautiful, and actually looks like a much nicer watch than the ones I looked at. I didn't have a huge sample size to compare from (most of the ORIS's carried by the jewellers i went to were stainless or rubber bracelets, and largely from the artelier collection).
In the end, the skeleton looked really nice in pictures, but in person it kind of felt cheap.
I would still like an ORIS as a more casual watch maybe, so I'm just curious how you feel about yours?

Here's mine, pretty much wear it 24/7 and I have to, apparently, else it'll stop working :D
