Is there a law against having intercourse with animals in your country? Currently in Holland we're suffering from a mass plague of retarded people who rape animals and get away with it as there is no law to prevent this.
Example:
A 65 year old dude from Morocco who lives in the Dutch city Utrecht couldn't be prosecuted for his sexual adventures with a little pony! The dude was caught with his pants down banging a horse (literally), but according to the law this is ok as long as the animal doesn't get some sort of injury. He also couldn't be prosecuted for having sex in public because his adventures took place in a closed barn.

I find a reasonble law if the animal gets no harm. But maybe there should be any way to ask the animal if it agrees to have sexual relations with the person.
I can only answer the second part: in spain, there isn't anything called "public scandal", so you can do everything you want in the middle of the most populated square of the biggest city. Except hurting others in any way, phisically or verbally, of course.

I could be mistaken but I don't believe it is illegal most places in the US. I read an article somewhere about how a farmer was screwing his pig and could not be prosecuted because it was his property and he was not abusing the animal... well... not doing it physical harm or something to that effect.

Anyways, I guess it's technically wrong. I think the animal has their own rights if they wanted to have sex or not too. There is no way you can ask them "Hey little Horsey, would you like to blow me?" and get a reply like "You bet!" or "No thanks you sick fuck."

I won't comment on whether it should be legal or not, but keep in mind that the reason people want beastiality to be illegal, is not because of the potential harm it can cause the animal, but from actively engaging in a perversion. If proven, that the animal doesn't suffer(though most likely), there is no argument to why it shouldnt be legal.
It's legal in Denmark.
