China is coincidentally honest. They want peace there. Peace with little incidents to keep them important as NKs overseer, but nothing serious.

You meant death, the word casualty includes injuired. no casualty also implies death I believe. You are wrong. um.... I don't want to really get into this right now so now please stfu http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/casualty
No, YOU are wrong, from you own link
"a member of the armed forces lost to service through death, wounds, sickness, capture, or because his or her whereabouts or condition cannot be determined. b. casualties, loss in numerical strength through any cause, as death, wounds, sickness, capture, or desertion. 2. one who is injured or killed in an accident: There were no casualties in the traffic accident. 3. any person, group, thing, etc., that is harmed or destroyed as a result of some act or event: Their house was a casualty of the fire. 4. a serious accident, esp. one involving bodily injury or death." (bolded useful parts)
So no, casualty does NOT imply death, it includes death but saying every casualty is a death is wrong so why don't you stfu and stop acting all high and mighty when your own link proves you wrong.
As to the situation, I doubt it will escalate, at least I hope so.

When I lived in Korea, there were drills and practices so that we can hide our asses in case something happens. Yet, nothing happened.
Well, things might change.

Having grown up during war I can only say that people thinking it's somehow "interesting" or "entertaining" don't know the first thing about it. It's pure horror. Watching a documentary decades later doesn't even remotely paint the picture of an actual conflict and the hell it brings.
Doesn't matter if you are trying to appear as an internet tough guy or actually believe what you are saying....you are uninformed, insensitive and dead wrong. This the kind of attitude that starts pointless bullshit. The word interesting is being completely misunderstood in this thread. If this situation isn't "interesting" then why then fuck are you all reading this thread. Stop going to battle with everyone just because you are emotionally charged. Because I have a lot of Korean friends who have family in S. Korea, and I'm fucking concerned? I'm not "interested" in a war or people dying, I just want to know if everyone will be safe.

China won't go to war. The current leaders they have now are actually quite moderate. N. Korea on the other hand is just crazy.

I'm on the West Coast, and it turned back to Larry King a little while ago

If you have friends and family in either Korea, then I assume this situation is "of interest" to you. Do you understand yet?

I didn't misinterpret the usage of the word, I know full well what people meant by interesting and I know it's not synonymous with good or positive.
And no...still not interesting. Rape isn't interesting. Murder isn't interesting. Cities destroyed, people tortured, neighbor turning on a neighbor...not interesting at all.
It's only interesting to people who haven't found themselves in such a situation or are observing from afar. I guarantee you, for people caught up in the war there is nothing interesting in it. Regardless of how you use the word.
Experience and being emotionally charged isn't the same thing mate.
