Could only think of one handy thing at the moment:

Going to bed and hot as hell? Flip the pillow over and lay your head on that side. Feels awesome.
If you don't like it, you can quit.

Drink a lot of water to wake up everyday refreshed. You'd be surprised at how little water most people drink.

If you're wondering how much water you should drink in one day, fill up an empty 2-liter soda bottle with water and try to drink that in one day and you'll have gotten your recommended amount. I've been drinking a ton of water lately and I've been so much more energized and refreshed.

Have your own business as soon as possible (even if its something small on the side of your regular job). This allows you to pay a good portion of your everyday expenses with pre-tax money.

I've noticed a lot of "advice" doesn't apply to people in general, it's more results oriented experiences which teach them (not necessary wrong things), but things that certainly don't apply to every situation.

Like this?
If you have a child, don't pull at his/her arm when it is in a pronated position, you may sublocate the radius. Although it may be relocated quite easily by extending and supinating the arm, this should never be done without an x-ray.

Umm maybe? I have no idea what ur talking about
I meant stuff like this

Do not buy your girlfriend or wife flowers in an attempt to make nice after you pissed her off. Every
time she looks at the flowers, she will just be reminded that you pissed her off, unless she has the
memory span of a goldfish.

Results oriented. He obviously didn't attempt to even apologize and just sent flowers

Don't loan money to friends.

Again, obviously results oriented.

You need a good knife. It doesn't matter if people give you weird looks, having a knife on you will
simplify your life 100 fold. There are so many uses for it daily that you won't even realize untill you
carry one with you. I suggest just a plain folder, the kind with the blade that has the bump/hole on it so
your thumb can swing it open.

Unless you're in high school.

Etc etc :O

If you are having diarrhoea pains in your stomach take a table spoon of vinegar and your diarrhoea pains will clear up almost immediately.

Also, make sure you eat enough food. If you skip meals due to laziness/playing too much video games/whatever, you'll feel tired as hell and sleepy all the time.

Nobody can tell me honestly that they enjoy the taste of liquor more than, say, some kind of juice or milk or soda. The point of drinking something alcoholic is for its psychoactive properties and/or social pressures.

I don't enjoy the sugary taste of a lot of juices, so yes, I would much prefer a beer.

Ugh. Even if that works, doing that is about the most unappealing thing ever to me. Neat if it works though.

My dad just lost his cellphone charger and I was going to do the hotel thing.

But then they could ask to verify your room # and/or name and if nothing is on file, you're going to stand there looking like an idiot.

Sorry to hear that you got mugged, that sounds quite scary. To protect yourself, you don't really need a gun, they're quite expensive and it's bad to have one on you. What you can do is keep needles hidden in various parts of your clothing (ie, embedded in your belt loop, sticking in your wallet, etc), and then learn how to fight using needles. A surprise stab can be quite effective. You can nullify certain muscles by puncturing nerves, or you can be less merciful and puncture an artery.

when your on fire, stop, drop, and roll! although, do not combine with above needle strategy

when you are changing lanes, a good measure for when you are safe to change is when you can see in your side mirror both of the headlights of the vehicle behind you in the lane you are merging into.

It's even better if you stop drinking soda/pop and replace it with water. It sucks for a few days, but after that it feels great and you'll probably lose weight!

Drinking alot of water is so healthy in the long run too. Helps keep gall bladder and kidneys clear as well as almost everything in your digestive system and tons of other good things.

I'm always shocked when friends of mine say they don't drink much water they say they always drink juices or sodas or other things. I'm like wattttt.
