If it's similar to past games using clues, there will be screenshots of everyone's profile available and it is either against the rules to change your profile, or at least it is highly discouraged.

Are the clues supposed to deceive others into thinking we're someone who we're not? What are we supposed to put in our profile? I re-read the main post & rules, but I'm still a bit confused about what we're supposed to do with our profile/signature/etc. Sorry if I missed the explanation somewhere, but this is my first time playing and I want to make sure I'm playing correctly. Thanks in advance! no no no, don't put any information about your role here is an example of a clues use in game, to clear things up Day 2 ![]() coagulation was walking down the dark alley, whistling a happy tune to himself. unfortunately he didn't hear the footsteps behind him and it was too late for him to react when his assailant drew a small thin blade to slit his throat. coagulation the townie has died. long thin knife is a scalpel, i'm DoctorHelvetica so there is a connection there. a clue can be taken from anything in your profile. in this case the clue was taken from part of my name. here is another example, also using me as the killer. Let's say instead "coagulation was walking down the dark alley when he heard a voice come from behind him. he turned around but there was no one there. suddenly he started hearing voices all around him, from all kinds of different directions, calling him toward them. in his confusion he didn't see the man lurking behind him and before he could react he was strangled to death" this clue is reference to my signature. I reference ventriloquists in my signature so in this case the killer threw his voice around in the alley to confuse the victim. basically whenever someone is killed during the night, the person who killed them leaves a clue. the town can analyze these clues and reference them with peoples profiles to find out who the mafia/vampires are. does that make sense? as far as what you put in your profile, that's up to you but it must be completely unrelated to your role in the game. just whatever you like, some favorite quotes, or the lyrics to a song you enjoy.

Just a reminder that everyone needs a picture, a quote and a good bit of information in the public profile section. Thanks...

You do not have to use it if you do not wish to. However, usually it is in your best interest to use your role assuming it does not have limits on use (like the Reaper).

"clue" to me means "a group of random information, may be true or false, related or non-related" about some body. i used that definition to update my profile :D... i guess i have to be in the game to truely learn how to play it

No, but any role that can be used every night should be used every night really. I don't understand what you mean by "law low". If you are the detective, no one knows that you used your power and on who you used it besides you and the moderators. Only kills are revealed to the town as a night actions, using an action at night can not in any way reveal you unless it is a kill power. edit - no more red text, it hurts my eyes

The story of their deaths contains clues that point toward the killer, these clues are referential to the profile of said killer. Ex: Day 2 ![]() coagulation was walking down the dark alley, whistling a happy tune to himself. unfortunately he didn't hear the footsteps behind him and it was too late for him to react when his assailant drew a small thin blade to slit his throat. coagulation the townie has died. the clue points toward me, it references my name. the small thin blade, in this case, is a scalpel. that's something a doctor would use.
