I have a few rules clarifications to request:

1. Will the werewolf, having transformed at night, revert back to "normal" during the day? That is, will the players know if the werewolf transformed, beyond the fact that his visitor died?

2. Will the town know if Frankenstein's Monster is reanimated?

3. Is the Jack-O-Lantern able to plant two pumpkins EACH NIGHT, or does he only have a total allotment of two pumpkins for the entire game (with the ability to move one each night if he chooses)?

4. Is the town's win condition 8 vampires AND 8 mafia must be dead (meaning 16 total bad guys dead) or some combination of V + M = 8?

5. The Poison Fang's murder counts as a MAFIA kill for the night? Is this intended?

6. If The Poison Fang's kill target is "protected" by the ghost on the night he is supposed to die, will that target die the next night when not protected, or is the poison simply nullified?

7. What happens if two teams simultaneously meet their win condition? It is also theoretically possible that ALL three teams meet their win condition simultaneously. Does the town win here or is it a draw?

8. Lastly, by "kill power" does this mean that the mafia and the vampires each have the ability to kill three people each night so long as they have 10 living players? This seems imbalanced if the humans can only kill once per day cycle (with the option of killing two people three times per game)...

1. I am considering changing the role of the werewolf to an information related role, keep that in mind. The answer to your question is yes he reverts to normal. The town will not know the death was by werewolf and a clue will be left.

2. No.

3. Two for the entire game.

4. AND, meaning a total of 16 dead.

5. Typo.

6. The poison is nullified. The ghost notices the target is sick and calls the zombie hospital.

7. This is possible. In the case that multiple factions satisfy a win condition it is a joint victory.

8. Yes. This isn't imbalanced because the mafia and vampires, during the beginning of the game, have the same goal as the town which is to eliminate mafia and vampires. Essentially the town benefits from the correct use of mafia/vampire KP. The town has other ways to kill with jack o lanterns and grim reapers, so they aren't as weak as you think.

Werewolf has been removed and replaced with the Mad Scientist.

Mad Scientist - You are a Mad Scientist! You studied chemistry at the prestigious Liquidvania University of Zombies. You have the ability to analyze evidence and determine if it is important or not. Three times during the game at night you can analyze something to see if it is a clue (clue description), twice durin the game at night you can analyze forensic evidence on a clue (clue check).

Clue Check: Does X contain a clue that points to Y? (Where X is part of a Day post and Y is a player's name. X may not be longer than one sentence.)
Clue Description: Is X a clue? (Where X is a part of the Day post. X may not be longer than one sentence.)

PM me the section of a Day post you want to analyse and you will receive results at the end of the night.

Plexa knows about this game, right? People in the "grant forum access" thread have been shafted before, not being given permission to use the Mafia forum because he forgot to check for requests, or had the Sports & Games tab minimized, or whatever. I'm not doubting Plexa's competence or anything, just something to account for, so we can have a minimum of delay going into this game.

Thanks for organizing this, Doc! This'll be my first Mafia game, and I hope that it goes well! =D

also because its halloweeeen themed, which is pretty much the only reason i signed up lol.

with so much interest it might be a good idea to open a second game. idk.
