I want to see the real report. Remember when the UN report supposedly said WMD were supposedly being smuggled out, but it was acctually just 'suspicious items'? What if the same thing is happening here? | ||

Besides, hasnt anyone ever heard of "all fair in love and war"? Anyway, i finally got time to see the movie. And as much as a moore fan i am, i must say i was utterly dissapointed. This movie really needed to come out a year ago. We all knew the first time bush opened his mouth he was an idiot, we all know how the election was stolen, and only recently do we all know that invading iraq was a lie (as opposed to speculating). The only thing this movie sheds light on is the elaborate financial gain and connections made between the bush family and others. We all knew how his inner circle stood to evily gain in one way or another from this war, moore just connected the dots all the way to the end. And while bowling for columbine used pure unadulterated facts and solid clips longer than 5 seconds to portray a very strong evil of guns, this film was quite shoddily assembled imo. Personally i just think moores hatred for bush clouded his judgement too much, as half of our clips were just bush outtakes & blunders, repeated in slow motion, and mixed with others. There was nothing inherently wrong with any of it, definatley no LIES, but he didnt do nearly as much equal sided reporting as he did with columbine. Thumbs down for me, simply b/c the movie was too late. | ||

but every single conservative who made the comparison between saddam/iraq and hitler/nazi germany should not whine. no, I'm not saying that bush is worse than saddam either. he isn't. argueably a greater threat to the world, due to having far more power and influence than saddam ever had. but basically lighten up. that picture morphing thing is obviously a joke.  | ||
