Bush didn't gas thousands of his own people. Hitler did (the Jewish communities). Saddam did (Kurds). Correct. However, Saddam's atrocities were carried out with the diplomatic and practical support of significant figures within the Bush government. Perhaps you still have not seen the pictures of Rumsfeld cosying up to the dictator back in the day. Bush doesn't control secret police that carry out murders and rapes. Hitler did (Gestapo). Saddam did (Fedayeen). Absolutely correct. However, as I pointed out above and have pointed out numerous times on this forum, Saddam was actively supported and encouraged by the very people who are now running your government. Bush isn't a socialist. Hitler was. Saddam was. Hitler was about as far right as they come. The common translation of his movement's name is the National Socialist Party but you cannot pull a move like that one and expect not to get called on it. Such downright nonsense damages whatever credibility you may have. I am not sure I have ever encountered even one other person who actually believed Hitler had anything whatsoever to do with socialism. So Saddam was a socialist as well. I see. This will come as something of a shock to the millions of true socialists around the world who no doubt see the former Iraqi government as just another tinpot dictatorship and an anathema to their highly democratic and inclusive views. | ||

And that there should definitely be a ban on stupidity levels as low as certain individual's here, that plain simply ruin any possibility for an intelligent conversation in a thread. By my definition this is stupid. However I'm not here to argue about the level of your stupidity, be it that u agree or disagree with me. I'm just pointing out some basic facts that have been on many-a-people's minds lately, and am trying to do whatever there is I can possibly do to somewhat sort the situation out. The fact that u might agree or disagree with me on any given topic won't ever change the fact that ur mental capabilities have long ago reached rock bottom and have by now started to dig. Hitler was a genious (in crowd manipulation) whereas Bush has so far been a major falure at pretty much anything he had responsibility of (starting off from several companies and his latest achievement being a north american country...) and the crowd manipulation is done all-too-well without him (even though he *is* a convenient tool in the process). -Mynock | ||

And about the "nobody believes a single word he says" issue: sure they don't, but that's only true for people with an ounce of awareness, which unfortunatelly means about half of the american popualtion according to the polls, and even less so if taking in consideration how even those opposing him often do so unaware of the "why". And if you'd like a proof to that... just watch any of his public speeches. What's with the reaction (be it a selected crowd even) when the vague imbecillity of his folly is so obviously at hand? Actually, I have heard, so I have no idea if this is true or not, that a lot of Americans like him because he is so simple, for once they have a president who talks like them and thus they are able to understand him... | ||
