I am current sixteen, will be seventeen this summer. However, I have been in a relationship (My first and only) for the past five and a half years. We were best friends for almost two years prior, and we always knew we "liked" each other. But, we were both afraid of hurting what we already had. However, that changed when I started getting letters and poetry from a mysterious "someone". I suspected from the start, but it took me half a year to finally get her to admit it. Ever 'since then, we've been together. Things haven't always been well though. Throughout the course of five years, I've moved twice (So, it's long distance right now), she's been accepted into college on a grant, I've found out many secrets (Mother is abusive, cheated on me twice with a girl, she's suicidal) but we've worked through it all. And, if anything, we've become stronger. I may be blinded by love for staying with her, but I'd rather not be able to see a beautiful world then to have to face a horrible one without her. | ||

unfortunately i have to move out of the country so i have to leave her behind.. we were still together by then n a long distance relationship... found a month after i left she got pregnant.. not by me but from one of my close friend while were together... that was a year ago... but the pain is still there.. i learn a lotta things about her that changed me as a better person.. and il treasure that fo the rest of my life | ||

ok, i was 19 (now i have 25 years old). I know this girl... i never was in love before... but this girl was so special... she played magic, she loves to read, she doesn't wear make up, she listen metal, all the stuff i always dream in a girl. Suddendly i realize i was in love... i ask her to be my girlfriend. She said ok. So we start a incredibly relationship, i forgot to tell she had a little baby from an ex boyfriend. But that i didn't care. We stay togheter for almost 3 and a half years. I just love her and the little boy. One day, without any sign, she broke up with me. She change me for another man. One more atractive, etc. I had to say goodbye to her and to the little boy who was almost mine in my heart (and still is). Now i have 25... we broke up almost 2 years ago. I had another girlfriends, but i never could fall in love like the first one. I begin to think, that the true love is always the first. I begin to suspect, that the nexts ones, are only to forget. Doesn't pass one day without thinking on her. at least 1 minute. | ||

On Valentines day, I bought her a box of chocolate and one of those stand up picture that has words in it. The words read something to the effect of "Let's be friend forever" (what was I thinking). Later that night, she got online and msg me. She said thx for the presents but she seemed kinda sad/mad. So I kept asking what's wrong and after the 3rd hour she asked me if I liked anyone? I said I did and asked her the same. She did too. Another hour ensue of us trying to find out who the other liked, although we both were pretty sure it's each other (these things take time) Anyway, @ 3 am things were out in the open and we were together (guess the picture worked eh). We were together for about 2 months when her parents (who didn't know we're together) set her up with another guy. She then told them about us but they said they can't change their mind because the parents of that guy is very influential and her parents want to get a good impression. So they wanted her to break up with me (fucking bitches). She tried to tell her parents that I help her greatly with school work, as well as a nice guy in general, to no avail. So she started to go out with both...which make me unable to focus on anything but anxiousness/anger/confused. Obviously the other guy is really rich, really good looking and buy her parents lots of presents (he also goes to a community college) while me, a DU student barely getting by paying tuitions, can do little. I'm not sure if it's her parent's influence, or she changed, but she was shying away from me as time goes on (this was about 2-3 weeks after she started going out with both). So I finally had enough and told her, if she really wants to stay together with me, then forget the other guy. If she has doubts, or it's more important please her parents more than our relationship, then obviously this relationship doesn't have enough to go on, and it should end. And it did. I have no regrets. I should also say that my academic performance dipped during the relationship because of all the stress and worries she put me through. Now I have no intention of getting into another one until I'm done with school. GG | ||
