I dont know all you need to backmask satan is an s and two vowels anywhere in the next line, but it is there. The foward lyrics were heavily influenced by the book Magic Arts in Celtic Britian which make the forward lyrics cryptic and make people think its so weird it has to be on purpose but actually its directly from a book. Satan, schmatan. The backward lyrics clearly refer to a man having dinner with his family in a restaurant. The man is somewhat haughty (Plant himself?), his children are misbehaving, and the service is bad. Listen closely... "Oh waiter, yes, my plate's empty.
