I just ate this. It is AMAZING. I got a combo + side of cole slaw and it was AMAZING. The colonel sauce was just so AMAZING with all the chicken and bacon goodness.

went into KFC for the very first time today and ordered one of these
fucking delicious, probably won't make me go to KFC again any time soon but the experience was totally worth it :D

Just tried this. I got the sandwich ("original" fried chicken version), with mashed potatoes, 2 biscuits w/ honey, and a soda for $8.99 in total. The sandwich itself wasn't INCREDIBLY tasty or anything, but it was pretty good and juicy, and I feel 100% satisfied after that meal. Would have it again.

Ordered it today, sat down, removed box from bag and opened it to see a piece of wax paper COVERED in grease, while it was quite tasty I couldn't see myself ordering it again. KFC threw moderation out the window with this thing, after may years of developing a Pavlovian response to biting into a sandwich this thing just felt out of place, you could of given me a side of 4 buns and I would have constructed something a little more rounded.

(scale 1-10)
Taste - 7 (KFC chicken is generally juicy and tasty, these patties were no different)
Satisfaction - 7 (I had to order an extra side, and while it was a bit smaller then I expected it had so much grease, cheese and the right touch of bacon to be "more than meets the eye" or rather "clogs your arteries")
Price - 4 (I payed $5 for this and a drink, by abusing the value menu you can certainly get a MUCH better deal then one of these things... But as with most gimmick food items they tend to over charge.

Final impression;
Worth a try if you haven't had it yet, but I assure you next time I step into KFC I'm getting a few pieces of chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy and a biscuit.

I didn't really enjoy it.

For one, it was $8.99 + tax. Maybe it was just the place I had it, where the food is generally less delicious, but the filets were pretty small and it was overall a pretty underwhelming experience.

It might be because I was so hyped up about it beforehand and it didn't really taste as great as I thought it would.

This is the best innovation to ever happen to man. If you think about it it was a great market choice by KFC as it is somewhat of a joke and is viewed as manly to eat.
