Supernovae are extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy, before fading from view over several weeks or months. During this short interval a supernova can radiate as much energy as the Sun is expected to emit over its entire life span. The explosion expels much or all of a star's material at a velocity of up to 30,000 km/s (10% of the speed of light), driving a shock wave into the surrounding interstellar medium.

Well, back in elementary, a group of midgets came to my school to talk about their lives and show us how they were physically affected by their condition but still were capable of performing more "normal" activities, such as playing basketball. One of them called themselves "Porky" (thinking back, i think i finally understand why).

Anyways, a few months later I needed a runescape name to play for my first time, and my friends helped brainstorm the name Zorky. Of course, after completely ruining the stats on that character (the 'pure' thing was all the rage) I needed to remake an account. Zorkit was born.

And it stuck.

1st time I came to the PC land (you in Asia call it PC bank i think) I wanted register myself like a Neo becouse of my name is Nikolo but everyone call me Nikolaj so i wanted something with N.
Neo was already taken (as always) so I told that guy i need few minutes (it took few hours :D) and for the inspiration I went to look how another guys are playing. I was 8 maybe 9 and never played on PC. so i was watching older guys playing Quake and also CS. CS was REALLY new game and that was working only on few computers there. I dont remember if there was SC. and how i was watching plays i looked up and saw big screen there was names of players, time and sitting places.
I wasnt really thinking about name i was just watching CS :D I didnt understand how can they move with mouse xDDD becouse i was playing just on Playstation :D and than that guy came to me and he was so big and old (18 i think) and he asked me if im Neo, he looked so pissed off so i said no and run :D and when i stoped running i get that name i can be Nino it is with N and it is kind of badass name. but nino was already taken too so i put there III : ) that ís my story.

Half Spanish as my mom was born in Madrid. Esteban = Steven spanish.

Simple yet exotic me thinks. Plus it reminds me of Esteban from Weeds my favorite show.

Comus is a band named after a greek god also known as the Lord of Misrule thus ComusLoM. Comus are an absolutely awesome dark folk rock band who made an absolutely awesome album in First Utterance. Very atmospheric epic stuff.

Back when I played The Sims Online (like 8-10 years ago) I had a polar bear sim I called Pie. There's no story behind that; it was just the first thing that popped in my head as I made the character. Ever since then I've used the name or variants of it for all kinds of characters/screen names. When Wrath of the Lich King xpack came out for WoW I was trying to think of some new variant for the Death Knight I was going to make. Then I ran across a player named Sargasm and had an epiphany.

My name comes from the a line by a band called Sleep. They write songs about space dragons and stoner wizards from beyond the stars, but much less "Dragonforce" pants-too-tight falsetto, and much more "Electric Wizard" so-bass-riff-heavy-it-causes-spontaneous-bowel-movements. Also their lead singer went on to found Om, and their lead guitarist went on to found High on Fire, so that's like, triple the ridiculawesome, right?

My name is what happens when you push shift and 3 on the keyboard simultaneously. All those other names for the symbol that you may have heard/found on wikipedia are false and heretical. I chose this name because I find it hilarious to read posts on the internet that contain "#" as "Octothorpe". (Reading any internet posts in dramatic fashion, emphasizing and pronouncing abbreviations and symbols is infinitely entertaining to me) For example "Hey babby, gimme ur (phonetically: ooh-err) fone #. (must read aloud in an evil tyrannical voice as OCTOTHORPE) That, and I was pretty sure I'd get banned on b.net for using Heyzeus_Cristo.

Back when I played C&C, Phonebook was just a random name I chose to play under. It later carried over to WoW, and thus I realized how uncreative I am with names and just stuck with it for everything
