I wanted to pick an everyday word to emulate Korean progamers. I made a list of such words and organized them into a bracket. Then I made the words fight for my love! I narrowed my list down to a few candidates with this method. My top choice was already taken (albeit with different capitalization,) so I settled on VeRy, instead. It's an adverb. It's mundane. It has alternating caps! It has everything I could ever want in an ID! It doesn't make me a better player but it does make me feel cool!

In real life I am a Blue Carebear, but ever since I was born... I just... feel like I'm in the wrong body...

Edit: I really have no clue, I prefer to call myself with long names like IAbuseYourBunny or CarebearAbuser, just whatever game I am playing.

Invented this name while i was trying to sign up for metal gear online. after many tries of registering through the ps3 i finally got to create a name, i wanted to go for something with a weird pronounciation and numbers ( cuz numberz aer kewl

). Ended up with something at first i thought was going to be pronounced OWN - ER - ED, but one of my friends told me it sounded more like
OWN - NERD. so im stuck with it i cant get rid of it im just to used to it.
(i played MGO for liek 2 weeks then sold my ps3 to buy an upgrade for my pc

)

Tetsuwan Atom or Mighty Atom aka Astro Boy.
When I was a kid back in the 80's the most inspirational character that was most like me or what I wanted to be like in terms of a character was Mighty Atom.
Whenever I played competitive rugby growing up, I was always one of the least intimidating guys on the team, I wasn't tall, I didn't have huge pecs or shoulders, I wasn't the fastest and I always looked like the youngest on the team cause I was Korean and everyone else was westerners.
You look at MightyAtom and you see this little kid, but the little kid has an unbeatable heart and can really kick some ass.
In the same way, I didn't have all those intimidating looks, but I had the heart, plus heavy strong bones, super dense back and leg muscles. I could of thought of myself as wolverine, but I'm not hairy or psychotic.

So I always felt like I was Mighty Atom, defender of the weak, but otherwise a happy kid who once in a while had to kick some serious ass.

I liked the name epicenter, but want to change it to AgentOrange.

My name was a result of a much needed change, Previously I had been sing names from books I was writing, but decided that using them for a gamers ID didn't feel right, so I came up with ViRo.
The name actaully didnt come from virus which most people seem to presume for some reason. -_-
The origin is actually environment. It was a long day in Science...

My original gaming ID was Bansheekill which I used almost exclusively until recently, in fact, my original TL account from a few years ago is Banshee...something, unfortunately I have been unable to retrieve the account and so was forced to make this one. I had always liked the word Banshee, and while I knew it was some sort of supernatural creature I didn't find out that it was a female ghost until years later. When the Halo series came out a lot of people assumed I chose the name from the vehicle with the same name, which is quite untrue. The "kill"portion was required because most games already have a "Banshee" named account, and because I was 10 and completely immature, I chose Kill because Kill just sounded cool to me at the time.

Accer was chosen recently when I re-joined T:L and needed an account name. I looked around my computer desk and noted my acer computer, my acer mouse, my acer keyboard, and my acer monitor and then promptly decided to use it for my id. Of course, I mistakingly misspelled the damn thing and ended up with Accer, but I actually prefer this spelling anyhow.

I wanted something that was cool, simple and hard for a foreigner to pronounce correctly. xD
I had a whole list of Mandarin and Cantonese (some of them were, HuangRen, WongZi, HukSik, BaakSik, WongJun etc. etc.) names but I finally chose TaaiJoeng. TaaiJoeng means "Sun" in Cantonese. Nothing to complex, easy to read and has a simple meaning.

Edit: My name was also a result of a name change. My original name was "rwan". It was just the first letter of my name and my last name. It's quite boring.

I was the lone Korean in the midst of my clique comprised of mostly middle class white guys, so I got the nickname 'hyphen' from the hyphen in my first name. Surprisingly that's taken pretty much everywhere, and zHyphen sounds stupid, so I just dropped the h. The [p] is because Zyphen got taken somehow too e_e; for Protoss, which is what I play.

I believe it was while playing war3 a few years ago I just wanted a new name, this would have been about 7 years ago while in high school I believe. I live in "The Shire" in Sydney and so my friends used to always joke about my feet being hairy like a hobbits (go figure, year 8 kids), and I was always short back then (I like to think I am now a nice average height). So those two just combined to give me MidgetToes I guess...

my sc2beta name is "ILaggYouWait" because i always lagg like fuck in 4v4 games, the game froze so many times and everyone had to wait for me, so now its a running gag.

Bananengurke (german=banana cucumber) is my username that i have used for at least 5 years, it started when i played a browsergame called bananenkönig (bananaking) and it is very common to take random things and add it after "banane" for your username.
so then I played starcraft with that name, and then world of warcraft, and then youtube etc etc
