I used to love Dexter's lab. I've been Dex for almost 8 years now. Never used a different alias in the games that I've played competitively and the people I've lanned with call me by Dex. I think I recognize myself more as Dex / Dexter than as my real life name. Dextah when Dex / Dexter are taken on forums / websites / games.

I wanted to make an account for diablo 2, and rotten egg seemed liked a good chocie. But being a second-grader in korea, I didn't know how to spell it so i did my best and guessed rotinegg. I have stuck with it since however because its relatively short and it rarely shows up as a duplicate when i try to join other sites.

I came up with my ID back when I was signing up on AWBW several years back, and was really into Golden Sun at the time. Dullahan is the toughest secret boss from Golden Sun: The Lost Age - you have to transfer data from the first game to even access his dungeon, and he is the strongest of the bosses, even outdoing the final boss, with a spell that resets ALL of your Djinn (causing your characters to lose most of their stats) and a powerful multi-target spell with a chance of OHKOs, among other things.

So much nostalgia from those games... Can't wait for Golden Sun DS

Couldn't really come up with a better nick since then, so I've pretty much just stuck with it. Apparently Dullahan was already taken by a Korean on iCCup, so I added "x9" to the end as homage to video games as a whole (e.g. the life counter in any platformer/shmup/etc), to get Dullahanx9

8 years ago, useast, had just stopped playing moneymaps (thanks CynicDark) and had met a few people in toyland who were also training to get good (we had big dreams!)

we decided to make a clan and wanted it to be the last names that we used (i imagine all of us eventually deviated)

everyone picked a word used after last to go with the clan name

LaSt)ChAnCe (random caps because i was 14)

i now use intothechance for lots of shit because i thought IntoTheRain was the coolest shit ever

I used to use my name in Bnet 8 or so years ago, but when I realized how bad of an idea that was, I sat and wondered what would be a good name to use. I also just ran into the clan scene, and I was constantly having to join new clans because the ones I did join just didn't have what it took to continue, and it was frustrating, so that combined with my angry personality at the time and the desire to have a cool clan moniker turned into "Rage."

But because I thought it was too common to just use "Rage," I went ahead and added the -Overdose because I thought it made a lot of sense and added a little bit of edge to it.

lar_jarse, larjarse is my gamer tag, but more formally it is LarJarsE when connected with a tag. LàrJárŝÉ when I can actually type it.

for those who don't understand: arse = ass. Calling someone a large arse is like insulting them and saying they are fat.

I'm thin, and in FPS games I chose the skinniest character because I feel like he/she has the smallest hit box or will be harder to see. This may or may not be true, but I'm still going to pick the skinniest dude. It is ironic that you are getting killed by this guy called large arse but he's playing a skinny character. I know, its kind of obscure, but I made it when I was 12 (19 now).

Its funny to see how people spell my name in game "lars" larj" "larjar"

I've used a bunch of different usernames on different internet forums. I used to be "Red Bear" on some internet forums for those old combat flightsim called "Fighters Anthology" because I thought it sounded like the Red Baron but even better because it was a Bear. My brother and I both kind of used that account though, so I switched to "Speedy" as a callsign and used that for a while.

When I first started playing StarCraft the name I used was shadowdevil502 or sd502 on TL because... well, in high school apparently a bunch of the guys myself included were all interested in the same girl and some dude described us as "shadow devils" because we were all revolving around her, codenamed the "priest". I dunno, it was some sort of RPG thing I guess.

At any rate, because I ended up with her in the end I became known as "THE shadow devil" so I just stuck with that when I would play CS, though I'd shorten it to SD sometimes just so I wasn't as obvious a target when they put their crosshairs over me. 502 is basically my birthday, and that's just what people do when their desired username is already taken :p

After a while I started to realize that "sd502" was kind of hard to pronounce and so I started looking for a new username. At around that time I started watching NonY's FPVODs and I recall in one game his handle was "Uglytoss" and I thought that was pretty cool but since I couldn't think of anything cool to go in front of that I just went with "funny".

So now I'm "Funnytoss".

The story of my screen name is one of failure.
My first e-mail account was zack1991 I told my mom that, and she said I shouldn't use my birthday in my e-mail account.
I thought and I settled on zack1900. I made the account and forgot the password.
I tried again with zack1900zack. I made the account and forgot the password.
I tried again with kcaz1900. I made the account and forgot the password.
I tried again with zachary1900. I made the account and forgot the password.
I tried again with kcaz1900kcaz. I made the account and REMEMBERED the password.

I signed up for the playstation network (ps3's version of xbox live) with kcaz1900kcaz. It was free, but when I tried to talk to people they asked how to pronounce my name.

I've been using zack1900 on everything for a while now because it is easy and never taken (where I haven't forgot my password)
