This comes from a freaky dream I had a few years back, where there were white foxes, who bled white blood. And I don’t know why, but in the dream I remember finding this out and finding it absolutely chilling, it was just really frightening for some reason. And the memory of that dream has stuck with me, and thus I added on blood, from the white blood of the foxes. | ||

VMan is a shorthand of what my brother used to call me back then; I came up with it since the "enter your name" screen of Secret of Mana allows a maximum of six characters. So, pretty much, "VMan, [Knight] of Mana" My alternate nick is Seiken. I just like how the word sounds. | ||

Their band name was originally the "one"ders but everyone kept mispronouncing it "oh-need-ers" and "oh-nehd-ers" so when a label signed them they switched to the standard "wonders." I've thought about switching my name to I Am Spartacus, another inside joke from the movie. | ||

Eventually I decided to change my username since I wanted something a little less juvenile, but I still wanted it to be related to my original handle. I settled on spazer for those reasons, but also because Metroid is a fantastic game. | ||

During this time i was surfing the internots, and saw the iconic Apache web server feather, and ripped it and made it a spray (it used to be much more abnoxious / brightly coloured) and i used to spray it in whatever room i was in, to give people a hint as to where i was (or simply to lure them). The server was always on all-talk, and people just coined me as feather. Later i found if i put a - at the beginning, i could shape the name like a feather -fEAthEr | ||

The song Bad Boys for Life was playing. I thought they were saying Bad Boys fo Life. I thought it sounded cool. I was playing Starcraft, and what sexier unit is there than the zergling? Thus zerglingsfolife was born. Edit: This has created funny situation in SC since I usually play as Terran. Some protosses would forge FE against me, or do not optimal openings. Pretty funny | ||

I walked in one day to see my last name crossed off the assistant producer (fancy name for the guy answering phones) grid and the word "Optimus" in front. It was awesome, and it stuck. People thought I gave myself the name but I couldn't have. It was a mystery for over a year. I had a friend (Scarecrow) at the station I assistant produced for while he DJ'd. After flexing my incredible nerd muscles in a Transformer conversation, he apparently ran around to all the schedules in the station and crossed my name out in favor of the new nick name. I found this out not too long ago, haha. I'm just lucky I wasn't stuck with a lame DJ name XD I just carried it over here, on to Brood War, etc. I tried making it my SC2 beta name, but apparently it's considered offensive? So I can't use it  I use CecilFail instead, which (in another incredible display of nerd muscle,) is the name of my first Dungeons and Dragons character.Before either of those, I was known as dartski, which originated from a character I created when I was about 12 or 13 and used to role play in text based games and chat rooms. The character was originally called Dart Strife, referencing both The Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy 7. I just got lazy one day and gave him a nick name. | ||
