That actually sounds like the better idea for people who can't do both. Unless the swag they're giving at Blizzcon sells for a couple hundred, the primary focus is most definitely WoW. And if I heard correctly, the reason Flash/July didn't attend last year's Blizzcon was mostly due to KeSpa, whereas WCG will most likely have three of the top players attending. Don't know how the event is for actually meeting and hanging out with the progamers, but it's most certainly a better StarCraft tournament (once they add it to the list, of course).

Plus LA (that's where it's being held this year, right?) has quite a lot more in a short distance, where Anaheim is Disneyland and not a whole lot else.

Announcement of a new game title is given, They have said earlier that the new game is a new IP, therefore it will not be Starcraft, Warcraft or Diablo related. Quite exciting actually.

I think it's too early for an announcement, especially since they have 3 titles coming out within the next 1-2 years. StarCraft II, Diablo III, and Cataclysm.

I really think Blizzard should do these in the summer..
A) So people can use the rest of the time after to start saving up for Christmas.
B) People don't have school.
C) Everything is better in the summer anyways.
