fucking hotel/airport costs would be INSANE

and they were insane last year, so ya. its like a 500 or 600 dollar trip from texas even if you stay at a shitty hotel (which we did lol)

I'm actually thinking about holding off this year, unless they announce something amazing. The actual event last year was pretty bad, with a few positives. Of course hanging out with TL made it all worth it.

$25 price increase for less (the goodie bag lacked a beta key, WoW pet instead of a mount (making it about $150 cheaper), and was jam packed with advertisements)

A somewhat disappointing SC tournament; as much as I loved the players they had, not having any Protoss was a tremendous fuck up.

The lines picking up tickets and getting inside were abysmal. If it weren't so easy to sneak in, instead of waiting in line, there's no way in hell I would have gotten inside on opening day before 12.

Of course I'm just endlessly bitching, and I still had a good time, but if it weren't for TL making it an awesome time, there's no way in hell I'd pay for it.

Look forward to seeing all the TL people there again this year.

Don't want to hijack this thread but probably looking for a roommate or 2 to share the room with this year (staying at Hilton again). Someone who is laid back and won't mind some tree puffing going down in the room at random times throughout the day.

This is kind of true. The actual Blizzcon really sucks and there's nowhere nice around the area to go for dinner and we never find a place to have drinks.

Fuck Blizzcon now that I think about it. We need BWWI back.
