Things that annoy you in everyday life - Page 8

1. Political correctness: Can't make a statement about women, black, asians without being called racist of chauvinist. Obviously this doesn't apply to men and white.

2. Affirmative action: so how the heck is this not a discrimination? Try to eqaulize chances from the beginning and not just screw over people after they put so much work to get to the dream school just because you need to admit a few guys from each minority who would never possibly get there.

3. People walking slowly and who can't walk straight. Impossible to pass.

4. People who are cheap. Goddamn it, 1 dollar is not much and will not make you any poorer.

5. People who want to save the world. Go save the world somewhere else. I don't want to be a part of it as I don't believe in the impact of one individual. And don't say I'm selfish. I help when I feel the need but this doesn't mean I have to devote my life to saving poor in Africa or somewhere else. Also, most of the time you are soooo naive.

6. People with huge ego trying to show off.

7. Girls that talk only about guys, clothes and TV series... And the guys who chase those girls.

8. Women who breast-feed children in the public. Why the hell I would like to see your breast! Great that you're a mother but take your child somewhere else to feed it so people don't have to see it.

9. Couples with children who think that just because they have children they have right not to stand in line, push you or disrespect you.

I was driving home from school and there was a Toyota Matrix in front of me. The Matrix driver switched to the left lane to make a left turn onto a different street, but then in about 2 or 3 seconds he decides to switch back to the right onto my lane. I always take a neighborhood route since there is less traffic and not many students know about it, but today there were more cars than usual. Later the single lane became 3 lanes and I was happy to get away from this guy, but nooo he switched to the right lane (the one I'm on). I needed to be on the right lane since I had to make a right turn onto a street. Another street light came up and it turned red and Matrix slammed hard on the brakes AGAIN because there was a girl jogging across the street (keep in mind that she was far away enough for the guy to make a turn and she was adjusting her arm band that has an iPod). Luckily, my reaction was fast enough and I pulled my e-brake. Thank god there wasn't a car behind me since he/she might have hit me, causing me to hit the car in front. Of course he had the nerve to come out of his car and give me an ugly stare, which doesn't make sense since I DID NOT hit him. I think he just assume I did because I was tailgating him earlier, which is his fault since he was going around 25 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. The stupidest part is that once we both turned right onto a new street, he made ANOTHER right turn, thus in conclusion, showed that he just drove in a CIRCLE.

So no, I'm not a bad driver. I had to tail gate him because it was a single lane and I tried to space out the distance between him and I. I was at the point where I had to let off the gas and then step on it again it still didn't work. The person in back of me tried the same, but it didn't work. The guy in the Matrix would speed up a little faster and then slow down way slower. So in all, you guys can say whatever you want. I still believe most Asian drivers are pretty bad.

you can say whatever you want, but you had to be there at the situation. I matched his speed for a couple of seconds, but then it would change due to people merging onto the single lane in the neighborhood because he would brake, speed up faster, slow down, speed up, slow down, etc. I forgot to mention that he looked a twitchy. What I mean is that, usually the person you see in front is sitting still, concentrating on the road. In this case, the Matrix driver, kept looking around and moving his right arm around, like he was grabbing something, or eating. I only typed a longer explanation to give more details on on how the person drove. And no, I already am a safe driver.

I dunno why you are defending yourself so much - everyone drives badly occasionally for whatever reason. Erratic drivers can be super dangerous, you're right, but not usually at 25-35 mph. If he was really giving you trouble you obviously should have dropped way back (and stayed back, which isn't that hard).
