smelly arabs on the long beach transit bus. I mean shit man, you're in college, learn to take a fucking shower.
The worst part is they always get on in groups and all come sit around me in an arc. Not all of them smell, some of them even have enough sense to put cologne on and smell nice. But there is always at least one who smells like he just ran a marathon, it's a salty, sour, choking rancid smell (yes you can fucking taste the smell, it's that bad). The thing I never understand either, if these guys are all friends, why the fuck doesn't one of them let their buddy know he smells like a used douchebag. If it was my friend I'd be callin him out so hard so that no one would ever have to smell that shit again.

Also, on this topic, my girlfriends mother works for an insurance company, and volunteered the information that Asian drivers get in way more accidents, and that they drive up everyone's insurance rates because the insurance companies can't be "racist" (They tried to charge Asian drivers more but the legislation got thrown out). Friends who spend all of their spare money on pot so that they can no longer go out into the world and actually do something fun, and then tell themselves that they are meeting their own standards and its my fault our friendship is failing. Wr3k, you are pretty fucking unbelievable. You need to grow up if you think the world still revolves around you. And please, do not justify your generalizations and racist upbringing. It's fucking disgusting. You better start re-evaluating your values because once you have kids, you're gonna teach them all those self-righteous bullshit that you comfort yourself with. News flash: You WILL get old, you WILL get sick. I really hope someone still has sympathy left for you when you're weak. Start caring more about others please. First of all, I'm not racist for saying Asians are bad drivers, or calling black people black, because these things are facts. I may be an insensitive asshole about the topic, but It's not like I go around treating people of different races differently without knowing them. I don't assume all Asians are bad drivers, but the abundance of bad Asian drivers piss me off. I can honestly categorize 90% of people who cause near-accidents on the road in front of me into 3-4 categories: Old people, people on cell phones, Asians (traffic in Hong Kong, Malaysia, China etc. is fucking crazy compared to Canada, so it doesn't surprise me) and 16-24 year old males that like to drive fast (I would probably be in the category). I'm not saying its some genetic thing, or that if you have Asian kids they will be bad drivers, I was just making the point that when a stereotype is true, or when being politically correct goes too far, the definition of racism gets broadened to a retarded scope where it doesn't properly apply. I have many friends who are Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Indian etc. and I guarantee if you asked them if they thought I was racist they would respond with "wtf" and probably laugh at you. I am just someone who cuts right through the bullshit, and calls it how it is, that is all. They might tell you that I can be pretty obnoxious when I speak my mind, but I'm no racist. You think you can judge how I handle my relationships based on one example you don't even understand? Everyone has lost friends at some point in their life, and its not like I'm on bad terms with the person I mentioned, in fact if I called him right now I'm sure he'd be cool with hanging out, I just don't like sitting around smoking pot, and as a result we don't hang out as much, its that fucking simple. About the getting old and sick part, when I say unhealthy people, I mean the people who smoke 3 packs a day, or weigh 300lbs, and then wonder why they fucking have health problems. A healthy diet and exercise can reduce the odds of cancer, heart disease and stroke by 80%, yet people still fucking kill themselves by eating and smoking all day long. I'm not talking about someones decrepit grandmother, I'm talking about the 35 year old fatty that can't get out of bed because he eats too much. I think its hilarious that you think I am insecure and finds comfort alienating others... this is not the case. The thread is simply about stuff that pisses me off. Venting what pisses me off makes me feel better, its as simple as that. I get no pleasure from seeing people smoke, eat themselves to death, etc. nor do I get pleasure from passing judgment. I'm just listing off the things that piss me off. If you think I'm so insecure, why don't you ask yourself what you were doing in your post? Did I just piss you off? Or do you feel the need to criticize others to make yourself feel better. If you don't like what I'm saying, then feel free to express why, but you just turn yourself into a hypocrite when you personally attack me.

I wrote two lines responding to the insecurity comment. If someone told you to grow the fuck up and said you were a racist, added baseless insults like: "no wonder your relationships are failing", and then suggested that you should re-evaluate all of your values before reproducing, would you not be a little offended? I have a 3hr break until my next class, and one of my favorite ways to pass time is arguing with people on the internet.

Why are so many people complaining about people who walk slow? If you can't go around them then open your mouth and say "excuse me, im in a rush, can i pass?" [or something along those lines] instead of walking behind them and whine about how slow they are walking. Am I missing something here? Sometime I walk extremely slow because I have extra time before my next class and I rather walk slowly and enjoy the breeze or what's around me then rush and wait outside my next class. -edit- So I guess people who complains about slow walker annoys me. Either go around or ask them to get out of the way. I guess if you can't speak up for yourself to get pass people then it's best to whine about it on the internet.

Easily the most common annoyance I have is when people smoke while they walk to classes. I am forced to sprint ahead of them or slow down to their pace and walk 30 feet behind them -.- Cigs smell so bad it is painful.

In a private health care system I wouldn't care, id say do whatever you like. The thing is that in Canada, our healthcare system is free to the public, those who live unhealthy lifestyles put an unnecessary strain on the system, increasing wait times and government spending. There have been massive concerns over how to make public health care sustainable, and the fact is that the largest strain on the system is a result of unhealthy lifestyles. All I would ask of people is to be more conscious about their health, and to try and live healthy lifestyles. There are so many people who just don't care, and as a result they get sick, burden the system, and then the rest of us have to wait hours and hours just to get some hospital care. It takes months upon months to get any kind of hospital test such as a CT scan done, simply because its so overloaded. Many Canadians who suspect they have serious problems such as cancer, will pay money out of pocket to go to the states and get tested. I think that in a Country with public health care, we have a responsibility to try and live a healthy lifestyle so as the system does not break down. If a healthy person develops a sickness, I would say that its unfortunate, but if someone whos 80lbs overweight has a stroke, I would say its negligence on the part of the individual. I feel that its simply unfair that the person born with a heart defect has to wait for a bed because there are 400 overweight people who just had heart attacks taking up the space. The preventable health problems should be prevented, rather than ignored, so that there can be better care for everyone.

Unless that reason is due to an uncontrollable disease ( See Fat and Diabetes...or Thyroid problem and Fat) then you CAN and SHOULD put the whole burden on the individual because it was their damn decision in the first place.

You're a clown. The very reason the food is even remotely affordable is because of the way the tip-wage system works. If restaurants were forced to pay their waiters full wages you can expect every single plate in the entire restaurant to increase by at least 3-4 dollars a plate if not much more than that.
Being served is part of going to a restaurant. As such tipping for good service is part of going to a restaurant. Nobody says you have to tip terrible service but if the waiter/waitress is doing a good job and you put nothing down you deserve a whole lot of contempt. If you don't like it then eat take out.

And regarding free health care i'm from sweden you know
But i really shouldnt talk about overweight in canada/us. Maybe it's more related to laziness and ignorance there than in sweden.
I still don't think anyone choses to be obese and immobilized and smoke 60 cigarettes a day though. As i mentioned earlier bulemics is a burden on my tax financed health care system as well, but yet nobody would tell them to "just quit putting your fingers down your throat its unhealthy".
So yes it's a shame that 400 overweight people with stroke occupies hospital beds. But i'd rather get angry with the structure of the society rather than on the individuals themselves. They're just the symtoms of something bigger that is wrong. Fast food culture in the US / shitty school food in the UK, etc etc.

Slow walkers -- i mean like so slow that it's just rude. you can say "excuse me" but that honestly ends up with them giving you attitude 50% of the time and it's just a awkward situation.
passing in hallways-- choose a lane and stick with it. i always thought it was normal to stay in the right lane because that's how we drive here. i've been in empty hallways and someone will just B-line right into my path from the other side of the hallway like they can't control their legs.
same with doors -- open the one on your right. im sick of opening the correct door to meet 3 people on the other side trying to walk through me.
