Yeah, it was not that easy. The pilot was obviously a pro since he landed the helicopter on a spot that is nearly impossible, inches away from the trees. The police even said that their pilots would'nt even be able to make such a awesome landning
Btw, the police have now a theory that the robbers got over 45 million SEK. That is approx 6,6 million dollars if im correct. The police knows this because they calculated how much maximum weight the helicopter could fly.

Sometimes I just wish that deploying military units against civilians wouldn't be so tabo :/ ( and illegal) They could have had a JAS fighter on that stupid helicopter less than 2 minutes after take off but nono let them run away and then spend a small fortune trying to track them down :/ Yeah I know the reasons, I just hate people like these with a passion. Only good part is that there is a pretty decent chance that they will get caught.

by the way, they couldn't track them with radar cuz of the pro pilot who flew at extremely low altitude.

The police was there not very long after the helicopter landed north of Stockholm. It landed in a very tight spot with trees all around which means that the pilot was extremely capable. They got away, however, probably in a car.

Wow, cool lol. It's nice to see criminals who aren't retarded and can pull off a decent score instead of shove a gun in your face for $50.

I'm not sure why people have admiration for the robbers... although it would make a good plot for a movie if they edited in some semi-plausible justification other than greed.

I guess nice wasn't the right word, if I could go back in time I would of chosen "interesting" instead.

Some of these are as creative as the movies, if not more so.. I just read the article about the crane one and I must admit it was pretty slick.

as far as i know, helicopters can fly at low enough altitudes (is that the correct word?) to be missed by radar.. and from what i understand beeing fed this story by swedish news, they landed the chopper quite quickly in some nearby wooden area and then split with some other veichle..
I do love a good heist.. gogo robbers! ^^

sweet hopefully they don't get caught

sweden has never seen anything like it. We are all utterly shocked.
