if breaking a guys nose and leaving him out injured for a month is a standard yellow in EPL, then they new new reffs

talking about something else, I dont care if robinho has mad talent or the nuts, his shit attitude and fagoting is unacceptable, i would not want him in my team ever

Ok then the red is deserved. It's weird because he was never like this at United. I still like him though!

didnt he kick out like 3 games in a row last season?

I've seen the replays and it didn't seem like a red. Great game by Ronaldo up to that point too.

only red card i remember of him was when he pushed some guy vs Portsmouth early season. There might've been others but hes really not very aggressive.

I think his intention was just to fight the defender off who was tugging away at Ronaldo. There was probably malicious intent but I think ronaldo just got unlucky breaking the guy's nose imo. It's probably a red since the ref had a clear view of it and Ronaldo did catch him pretty well.

nah he didnt get called on them, which is why i remember them
regardless, the elbow was described to me over vent right after it happend and it wasnt nearly as bad when i saw the highlights, but still dangerous and i agree with you that it was unlucky that his nose was broken
it was always going to be a 'rojadirecta' right in front of the ref and in spain though ;p

Man Utd bought Christopher Smalling, a defender/youth prospect. He's hardly played at all in the premier league and I've never seen him except for that game when Fulham lost to Chelsea in their derby last month. This looks more like a move Arsenal makes, but hopefully he comes through cuz having wes brown + johnny evans in the middle isn't cutting it.

RUUUUUUUUD
He's only like the single best pure scorer of last decade, I figured someone in a bigger league would still want him at age 33. Well, I guess he'll end up being scoring champion in yet another national league. I was actually sort of hoping he'd go to Italy so he'd have a shot at scoring titles in all the major leagues =o
ok to the more serious part of my post: its true that hsv is not a team that normally gets a world class player like that so we got very lucky with special circumstances. his age and injury made it possible for him to go for free since he wouldn't play in madrid. but why did he choose us?
bundesliga is better than seria a right now (my opinion, ruuds opinion, uefa coefficient ranking will most likely confirm this next season) and he wants the scoring title and league title in all the major leagues^^ also he has the chance to win the europa league (a competition he never played in before) in front of a home crowd (final is in hamburg). and fun fact: our next games there are vs psv eindhoven his old team so he is looking forward to that^^ hsv is actually a good team with chances of winning a title (last season: semi final uefa cup, semi final dfb pokal, and a contender for the league title till we messed it all up) hamburg has a very good image in the netherlands because of many dutch players who blossomed here over the last couple of years (van der vaart, de jong, mathijsen, elia, boulahrouz). rvn said that all these players told him to come here cause hamburg is so awesome^^ he wants to go to the world cup (probably the most important reason) and hamburg is often visited by van marwijk due to elia and mathijsen playing here. he speaks german.
thats all i can remember of what he stated and papers wrote, and since he is making about half the money he got in madrid or would have in the premier league i believe these reasons are genuine.
on to another thing (basically a diversion so i don't get ripped a new one for saying seria a is worse than the bundesliga^^)

Well Riise did strike at death. But he did go "goa!" about 5 seconds longer than I thought he would. Amazing biased but serves a good fan base.
