EPTMoggi is probaly the best club manager in the past decade. This guy got a keen eye to pick out the talented players.
And as for Milan, I just hope it's management will spend more money to buy new blood.

 ), Fiorentina, Inter on a couple of occasions (once in the Supercoppa final) Man U, Lazio (game winning goal in the Rome derby <3), 3-4 times vs Milan (one of those times he scored 2 goals), Real Madrid, a brace vs Chelsea, and plenty of goals vs slightly lesser teams but in very important situations (vs Catania in the game where Roma was fighting for the Scudetto, critical CL games etc)). He's just not the guy you can count on to deliver every week unfortunately.  Hopefully Toni can take that role for Roma (otherwise Totti will take it when he comes back <3). | ||

why would mascherano get red carded? so you're saying that fletchers kick when he went down on lucas after the wistle isn't a straight red... are you kidding me? and the reason torres kicked that ball is because it's frustrating to play a game where the ref is INCONSISTENTly giving calls to one team. Oh and girard doesn't deserve to play he's playing like my ass seriously. He should be benched. I have a feeling he is saving his fitness for the world cup which is unprofessional. Benitez should leave liverpool at the end of the season and I hope he plays in a league where it's possible to go to "Old Trafford" and actually have FAIR calls given to you unlike what has been happening in the past 5 years. | ||

Just a guess, throwing it out there, you a scouser by any chance? The game was rubbish and Utd were lucky to get the penalty but thats what you get for holding someones arm in the penalty box, if you want to be really harsh he should have been sent off seeing as he was the last man, in a goal scoring opportunity and was fouled. Also as SuperArc pointed out Torres should have got a yellow for the babyish antics of kicking the penalty spot, which combined with the one he got like 5 minutes later would have been a red card, so thats two red cards they could have got and gone down to 9 men, i don't think Liverpool can really complain about the refree and start making up FA conspiracies against them. | ||

I mean torres isn't smart to kick the ball and get frustrated but you know when you feel a great injustice, some people just can't suck it up. Anyways, I might sound like i'm complaining which I am but I believe that manchester united even if they win the race for the title, they didn't deserve it to be honest. Their play this year (minus the past month and even then... lack of class was shown numerous times) was average maybe a bit higher but not the best in english football. And I have bashed other leagues for sucking but right now english football refereing is disgraceful and inconsistant. I mean at least in the spanish league you will notice that all refs call it the same or almost. The italien league sucked balls for a couple of years now, but they are SLOWLy but surely regaining their fame. Seriously it's nice to see good italien football from time to time. I'm actually impressed this year from the teams that play that league (I bashed them SOOO hard last year). The spanish league also improved, but the English league seems to have lost something. I think that some favoritism has been appearing and specially for the big clubs, but mostly against clubs who criticize the referees and this is ridiculous. I mean a couple of weeks ago, Webb didn't give another free kick to liverpool against arsenal at the end of the game when Fabregas handled the ball while blocking a shot while being in the wall. I'm a HUGE arsenal fan but he clearly blew it. He even stated that he didn't see it... i don't even know how that's possible given that you're suppose to position yourself to watch the wall on a freekick + the players (I was a referee for relatively high level soccer (provincial), not international level but I had my share of reffing). Also the English league is too LENIENT on people who commit OUTRAGEOUSLY bad tackles and they NEVER give hard suspensions to the people that game after game are reckless and try and injure players (intentionally or not). I don't even want to talk about the whales international that broke his leg from a lunging tackle. I'm talking about the studs first straight to didier Drogba's chest from that idiot manchester united defender, the LATE challenges, the constant hits from behind from other players. The English league needs to start PROTECTING their players. This isn't hockey or rugby where you can get the guy back on the next play and so on. It's ridiculous. Sure the league is rough but there is a fine line between rough and outright dirty or reckless . I mean it happens that from time to time you misstime a challenge but consistantly? and you get away with it because it was your first foul of the game? End rant... sorry guys I'm just pissed at all the injuries good players have been getting in the english league because of the stupidity of not giving hard suspensions | ||

The Premier League houses some horrendously dirty players. Mascherano, for one, is absolute filth at times. I can understand why he wasn't banned retrospectively for his rake on Gareth Barry (the ref saw it, and was apparently just a basic foul?) but good god that should have been a red. | ||
