Most of the plebeians (sic!) are running L4 regularly to fund their roaming ships. You will be able to salvage their missions for free at the beginning and then chose your path.

Seconded. Don't get worked up for so few. If you can't bother to read the OP and browse the last 10 pages you won't make it far.
The SP is a good environment where people help each other but that doesn't mean people will feed you for free. I asked for a loan from Mandini and I had interests to pay - even though he probably makes 10 times more (wild guess) in a week than he loaned me for a month.
