Alright, so in a nutshell: Corporation in EVE discovered a math flaw that made it so that normally short range/high damage guns out preformed even the best long range/lower damage guns. They basically had an aimbot that could hit anything no matter how small or far away, as long as it was in the range of their ships locking range. This was nerfed very quickly after it got out. That is part 1. Part 2 is them finally getting a fair chance to fight them, in the final fight they have 1 carrier, 1 bhaalgorn, and a handful of other battleships and T3 ships vs: 3 carriers, 2 dreadnoughts, 2 bhaalgorns, and a quite a few other battleships. Now some terms: Carrier: Ship with huge rep(healing) output to other ships. Dreadnought: Ship designed to hit large targets for lots of damage(hurts carriers bad). Bhaalgorn: Ship with huge bonuses to Energy neutralizing, without energy ships cannot use most modules, this includes reps, things that increase its resistance to damage(hardners) and on some cases, its guns. Triage: the carriers can fit modules that work for 5 minutes that make them immobile, but give them even greater repping power. They massively out fly their opponents and somehow manage to get their important ships down before their own die. Someone needs to link the Battle report for this if it exists. | ||

My suggestion is to watch it now, shake in awe, then watch it again in 6 months after you're more experienced in EVE, and have your jaw drop again. | ||
