In fact you should check in on me every 30 minutes or so and then if I don't reply go to my last known system and start checking nearby locals from me. From there you should scan me out and rescue me then pm me about all the effort and I'll pay.
Also sorry new guys I was meant to be helping do a mission. That one kind of backfired for you when I stopped firing. My bad.

Our CEO (revo) recently beat the ex-CEO of BRUCE (a big alliance that got destroyed by Pandemic Legion) in a 1v1 battle. Pretty sweet.
I don't suppose I have to mention that's because BRUCE was led by an epic retarded failure...

I finally created my character(Vesnyr) yesterday and I got hooked instantly. Having played wow for 2 years EVE is out of this world. I will be buying my accoutn as soon as the trial runs out.

I play on a laptop from bed generally and then push it til really late at night. If my playing hours were more reasonable I'd fall asleep less.

Last week some random dude asked me if he could copy information about projectile ammo damage types from my Bio. I thought this was a bit odd, since he was Gallente.
After chatting a bit he asked if I could check his setup. He was flying an active armor/shield tanked Exequeror of all things. Which he wanted to fit with autocannons, apparently.
The worst part was that this character was 3 years old. I can only assume it was sold to a new player, cause that setup was laughable.

Maybe it was an lol fit. Killing things with mining cruisers is so sexy. And autocannons are better than blasters IMO anyway. If he was shield boosting / armor repping, he might have wanted that cap for his tank rather than for his damage.

You have a valid point on the cap usage though.
As mentioned before, r.Evo recently beat another guy in a 1v1 BC fight. That was a pretty cool fight, which turned in Revo's favor partially because at the end of the fight his opponent's Myrmidon no longer had the cap to fight, while Revo's Hurricane didn't need cap to shoot autocannons. Hehe.
A couple of days later, Revo got another 1v1 Cattlebruiser kill and I considered this truly awe-inspiring. Until I saw the other guy's setup. Details here. That guy only fitted guns on his ship, and nothing else. Wtf man, flying an unfinished BC through our low-sec frontyard? Not smart.
In other corp-related news, Viljushkar's Caracal was recently lost after weeks and weeks of surviving active pvp combat. Vil later expressed his disappointment that the ship didn't outlast its insurance. Kudos on keeping her alive this long man.
And jeez, the influx of TL members just doesn't stop. If you're interested, just try the game and we'll gladly take you on board if you stick around.
