So i did a 180 and walked over to her. I sat down on her end of thr table and said what i usually say. As i was handing her my phone to let her give me her number, she sheepishly says, ohh by the way these are my parents. So i look across the table extend my hand towards her father and as we shake hands i say, sir its a pleasure to meet you. I am a complete stranger and i am here to pick your daughter up. I called her a few days later and we did a ton of the date stuff. It was funny  | ||

If you bet preflop and missed the flop then don't worry and certainly don't cbet, they're not folding any overcard, any 3 card flush draw or any card with a number adjacent to one on the table. Instead simply check until you hit and if you don't hit, check it down and hope for a high card win. Do not attempt to steal the pot, there is no need, if you have them beat then you'll see at showdown. If you limped and you hit anything on the pot then open with a minbet and see what happens. Be prepared to check it down if too many call or some bad cards come but you probably got it in ahead. | ||
