Could you give me a rough idea of their price? They're both PI alts, but the first one have some other skills which can be useful. Those PI toons are probably worth ~1.6-2.0 bil each when you train the first toon to the same PI skills as the second.

Furthermore we play eve, we like CCP, why the fuck are we upset that they might benefit from our charity drive? Learn to logic. Someone who can post on reddit respond as follows to 1) People donate PLEX to charity, removing those PLEX from the market 2) PLEX prices go up (supply is down, demand stays the same) 3) More people buy PLEX since the rising ISK value makes it "worth it" to convert dollars to ISK 4) ???????? 5) CCP PROFIT For 5 to result from 3 there needs to be a difference between the price CCP sell the PLEX for and the cost of providing the service (staff/server overheads etc) which we would know as profit. There almost certainly is as CCP isn't bankrupt. What this means is that if they refund thousands of PLEX purchases at retail price and give all the money to charity then while this appears a net neutral to the consumer (plex destroyed but CCP no longer have to honour the service represented by the PLEX) it is actually a loss of whatever profit CCP make on PLEX. Imagine if everyone took everything they bought from a shop back to the shop and demanded a refund all at once, even if all the stuff was in mint condition going "what are you complaining about, you still have all the stuff" misses the point, the shop has lost every bit of profit it already had. Now in this case, as was argued by you, demand for PLEX and subs is fairly static. What this means is that if you take a lot of PLEX out of the game then people will still need to PLEX so the price will rise causing additional PLEX sales until it again stabilises at the point where demand is met which will be roughly exactly the amount it is now because demand hasn't changed. To return to the store example, imagine the store has sold a thousand pairs of trousers (pants) at $10 profit per unit. If everyone asks the store to refund their trousers then the store is down exactly $10,000. If everyone then realises their legs are cold and goes out and buys another pair of trousers from the same store then the store is up exactly $0, despite having a thousand additional sales.
