All of these goals have been met, with varying success. Overall, the deployment has put us in a ready stance to do just about anything we’d like and has boosted our confidence enough to push forward with our bros in the north to shit all over the entire southern block starting with Delve TIL that FA has even lower expectations of themselves than we have for them.

Titans... titans and cloaky covops in deep safe spots everywhere. Except for King Ueber who 1v1's everyone in a rifter (Until lvl60 mach) because he can. And KwarK's immortal linked draek. + Show Spoiler + Mandini doesn't leave the town until last act and just buys and sells things on the auction house. Tofu dies Act 1 to a flying skeleton. Liquid Courage keeps recycling lvl1 characters by going on a killing spree and sacrificing his flesh for

I think their boosted confidence comes from the fact that the leadership didn't know if the grunts would actually stick around for endless hours of structure shooting while losing nearly every actual fight they got into, and it turns out they will, so op success!

And here I thought the only metric they achieved success in was "could our members join a fleet in fleet finder and show up to the correct region"

If they can spin their Syndicate adventure as a victory, and it appears that they can, then they can spin just about any defeat imaginable into a victory. Who wouldn't be confident knowing that? FA can advance boldly into any situation they like knowing that the benchmark for fucking up and getting nowhere has been set extremely high by the Syndicate campaign and that they can spin anything that bad or better as a victory.

PL is a trans game community, they have a lot of small ties in other games, and are notorious for simply only logging on to eve to take a contract before retreating to other games in off seasons. In eve PL is a merc group. Unless it has changed recently they're also the single largest group of super capital ships in the game. The CFC has more i believe, however thats really an assortment of several alliances, not necessarily immune to break ups. They had strong ties with the russian bloc which in conjunction with the NC's rather lax super cap marketing allowed them to acquire quite the large super fleet. PL contracts in the past have often put them on the other side of CFC engagements, however right now doesn't seem to be a formal contract more so just them out getting fights. Recently PL has done a lot of joint ops and roams with Test helping foster goodwill between the groups despite early CFC complaints. Additionally, PL typically accepted payment for jobs in two ways, either you paid in isk(or super equiv), or you paid in tech moons. Since PL has joined OTEC with goons ties have gotten stronger since it basically also works as a NIP (non invasion pact) concerning any existing tech moons amongst members. Another facet is that alone, PL really couldn't hold their moons which are often deep inside territory now owned by CFC member/pets. In other words Mittens has fostered an environment where the largest merc group, who has undoubtedly help swing many a null sec sov war one way or the other, cannot in their right minds actively take up contracts that put them at odds with CFC proper, and it didn't cost them a dime to basically buy out their services before any competitors did. This has had an interesting affect on PL, there numbers in the south aren't what they used to be as many members seem to be apathetic to non isk generating jobs. Depending on feelings inside the alliance the continued apathy could very well be a nail in the coffin for a group that is effectively sidelined into being a special pet of the CFC. Will be interesting to watch.

It is easy to see this current event in Lord of the Rings that which was broken is remade terms, and certainly there are those on both sides who want to see this as a restoration of the Pact that was broken in Y-2. Personally I think Eve has moved on/changed to much for such a restoration. But they will blue up, CFC will grind the sov, Eve will roll on.

All that remains other than these groups is solar fleet, NC, and intrepid. NC is in OTEC as well as PL. The CFC is getting closer and closer to absolute victory in Null sec. Will be really interesting to watch the transition after they achieve total victory. Mittens has been trying to stave off internal fighting for the last six-twelve months with making high sec players the target for their frustrations. ( Remember that the goon ice interdiction only became a reality during a spat of internal arguments and shooting matches between CFC members). Whenever the war machine slows, or leader ship becomes unstable like you know the CEO getting banned, Mittens is always there for an hour long rant about how goons need to focus on the real enemy High sec dwellers and their CCP mothers. Its all very text book dictator stuff commonly used to placate masses throughout history. Perhaps Mittens will formally quit eve having won only to see the the CFC crumble under its own weight and bickering with the lack of a central uniting figure. Or I guess they could just start targeting weaker CFC members saying they weren't contributing or had been really evil sympathizers with the enemy during the war. I'm hoping Mittens stay on though and continues this narrative of most of the eve population not actually being true eve players and we see some interesting null-highsec interactions. Its like watching American politics without having to end up crying in a cold shower that those people are actually running the worlds superpower. Edit: That or CCP will accidentally the whole sov map with a bugged feature that ends up allowing dust players to fully control the map. Then they will call it emergent-cross-platform-gameplay™.
